This was an upgrade from an old Kindle. Easy to set up, sharp images, and the larger screen is great.

I needed a bigger tablet because of my eyes, and this became available on Deal of the Day. I already had a smaller Fire tablet, and liked the way it worked, so I got this one. So happy I did, as I use it a lot. Easier to read and maneuver around on the internet.

I have had many kindle devices and they are all nice. This one is large and easy to hold and read.

This is a great tablet but there's too many ads that pop up.

I couldnt be more happy with this product. the setup was simple and I have easy access to all my content. I can even expend the memory on it via a micro sd card to store any books, music or other media. The image is crisp and the device lightweight and easy to bring everywhere I go.

Amazon has made one of the best tablets for the price. its up to you if you hate the adds or not.

Got this to replace my fire 8.9 . No problems at all, great size to watch my movies and to read.

This tablet is awesome i don’t go anywhere without it super response easy to use. Only thing that i have a problem with is that some of the compatibility app that i can download on other amazon devices don’t work on here. But i can live without them. It’s still awesome

I am an Amazon Prime member so I brought his tablet for benefits audible. It is a great app/service if you just like to relate and Listen. I love to read but I get bored very easily and tend to fall to sleep so this actually works for me. The tablet is self is not like any othe listen. I love to read when I get bored very easily intend to fall to sleep so if this actually works for me. The tablet is not as easy to maneuver around like the Apple tablets. I dont like all the extra apps that come on the tablet (wish it was simple) others may enjoy them... I love The fact you can speak to the tablet I think the Alexa app makes it even more amazing. You can basically just talked to the tablet whereever it is and it responds. If you have more than one Alexa device in your home that may become a problem because they sync together. It’s a pretty good size for its price and very loud. You can also connect to any bluetooth speakers you may have or wireless headphones. If you’re buying this device for a child it is best to establish his or her own email address because whatever content they have on their account will show up on yours if your using the same email address. I also like the fact they come in several different colors.

I bought this for my wife so she can read ebooks and other school related stuff. It is light and has a high def screen that makes pictures look vivid. She is still learning how to use it since she came off an older ipad. But it is very similar.

I purchased that Amazon Fire for a Christmas present for someone who wanted to mainly play some games & check email, so I didn't want to spend a big amount of money for a tablet but I wanted it to have a decent amount of space & easy to use. The Fire tablet does that & the power lasts for a really long time too.

I love it. It keeps a great charge, & I can keep all of my kindle books, & audio books on it.

I have two smaller kindles and use them all the time, I always have one available with a full charge. Then I received the larger one and it is so awesome. Love the bigger screen, love Alexa, apps, and it’s so much faster. Use it all the time and take it everywhere.

Bought this for my wife and she really digs it. Its much faster and responsive then her older laptop and very convenient.

I really love the color of the tablet. It is very easy to use and most of all it is lightweight with a large screen. It is great when I am on the move and need to complete class work in my online school. The price was very good and not too expensive.

I'm an Apple user with 3 Macbook, 4 Iphones, 1 IPad Pro, 1 IPad mini, 1 IPad, 2 Apple TVs. I wanted something cheap to use as a reader. I considered the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite but I want to underline in colors in the Kindle app. I found the Fire also good for watching Netflix and Amazon Video. I have had a few issues with the Bluetooth disconnecting in the middle of a video. I had to restart the Fire to get the Bluetooth back working. I don't like the ads on the login screen. You can't get to the regular Android Market apps. Amazon has their own approved app store. There is a workaround that you can do but it requires some technical knowledge. I was able to make the workaround work and install Apple Music app. There is a monthly cost for Apple Music which I was already paying for. I'm not ready to put all my Apple devices up for sale but I am impressed with what I see with the Kindle Fire. It was $800 dollars less than my IPad Pro and pretty much does the same thing minus all the compatibility with other Apple products.

Extremely happy with this tablet. For$150 it’s a great deal . The picture is excellent.

this tablet is a good value for the price and is almost ideal for those who don't require the more robust functions of an iPad. it is easy to set up, has expandable memory and works well with my Amazon account. I. have enjoyed using it thus far and would recommend it, especially at such a reduced price.
