I needed a tablet to rent e-textbooks for a college course and the Fire HD 10 seemed like a good compromise between price and function. I've only used it for the textbook, and very limited visits to the school website. It works great for the book, better than expected. However, it wouldn't load all document types on the school website. That wasn't a big problem for me, I just accessed them later on a PC. I'm sure it has a ton of potential uses. Read the specs, and read other reviews to see if it will do what you want. I originally wanted an iPad Pro, but for much less money this gives me the textbook experience I need.

I am upgrading a 2012 Samsung 10.1 tablet and couldnt be more happy with the Amazom Fire. Its out performing the Samsung and for half the price. I highly recommend it.

M<y Wife loves the size big screen and the speed is really quick. she has down loaded every from her other I-Pad which was super fast and she didn't loose a thing. she loves it..

This Amazon Fire HD 10 is awesome! My daughter had a Samsung Tab 8 that stopped working so I bought this tablet for her and she loves it. Its bigger, lighter, and faster.

I noticed the speed difference immediately. The ability to move around different applications is easy to navigate. The product was delivered before it was promised.

It is large enough to use as a private TV, can access internet, can play games, it's light enough to handle and move around even with shoulder replaced weak arm.

The Kindle Fire 10 is so much faster than the other Kindles I have had. The bigger screen is great for games and videos, and the camera is fantastic.

I bought this tablet for my diary use ..and I find it nice...with brilliant color in HD and very fast ..as I like it...I enjoy my video music..and I recommend it .......

I've owned an Ipad2 for several years . This device does everything for me that I did on my iPad for a lot less money! I couldn't be happier

This is my third Kindle and I love it. Screen is large enough to see words and pictures well. Lightweight so I can slip in my purse and carry anywhere.

I can't remember the exact reason why I bought this, but I'm sure I had just wanted a workable tablet that I could read books, watch videos and surf the internet with. Plus, hands free Alexa, which since buying I haven't used much, but it's there if I need it. What ended up making this worth it for me is that I downloaded the Autodesk Sketchbook app, and this is a great portable sized digital drawing pad now. For $100, that's not a bad deal, plus I can save shows to it and watch them at work without having to squint at my phone. I took one star away because it occasionally restarts, or doesn't recognize the SD card inside. Bothersome, yes, but not a deal breaker.

Perfect for my kids. Cheap and strong tablets. Everything runs very well without any disturbance. I recommend everyone to buy this tablets.

The price was great and the screen large enough It totally does what I bought it for...games, books , checking emails etc. I have no need for a more expensive version

Am going to a larger tablet, from a 7 inch, like the new features. The only thing I don't like is that I can screen mirror to my tv. Love that it's expandable.

Very easy to navigate for my older mother. She really enjoys the kindle. Was very easy to set up and hook to wifi. Big screen makes everything much easier!

I teach a Sunday School class and bought case w/ keyboard. Now I can use it like a mini laptop to prepare lessons using copy/paste in documents.

I kept going back and forth whether to purchase kid tablet or this tablet. I'm so happy I decided to purchase this tablet. Kids love it and I can use when not in use by children. I would recommend purchasing a flexible VERY durable case and tempered glass protector.
