We have both in our house, and the Fire tablet's simplicity is its virtue. Of course it integrates well with shopping, books, music, etc., and Alexa continues to run circles around Siri. The latest 10" Fire tablet is an incredible value and does all we need plus more.

Very good inexpensive tablet

Amazon Fire OS is not as pleasing as full Android OS, but at least you can alter it to get most of Google Android goodness. The tablet hardware is well engineered and function/performs quite well, too. I use it primarily as an ereader but also for concurrent music and web surfing which it handles admirably.

My fourth Kindle

The larger size takes a little getting used to, but the pics and graphics are great. I recommend a anti-glare screen protector and it is much easier to handle with some kind of case. I just bought a cheap one for about ten bucks on line, and it works good.

It's a really great tablet!

Even now 2020, it's still working very well. He plays games and watch utub, and Netflix on it all the time. Storage must be mostly pretty good. I we had to reboot once because it was too full, it response really well.

I do not like that I cannot get certain apps on it though. I’m almost thinking about getting another Tablet but it seems like a waste of money. Between my iPhone and my fire tablet there are certain apps that I cannot get on either one. Everything else about this tablet I love though.

Screen is really good size, clear nice picture. Doesn't overheat and I've ran it most of the day. The only slight mishap is that every once and a while the internet WiFi seems to disconnect easily. Which is kind of annoying. But aside from that(and for the price), to get basically the same setup as the Samsung galaxy pad isn't bad. So 4 stars.
