Definitely buy this item with case to protect it .

I bought this tablet to use messenger for talking with my daughter and her kids. Love the camera and qood for reading as well. I like that I can add storage when needed cause I tend to read a lot.

I expected to get the same apps that were on my phone but a lot of them, I can't get. It is nice to watch movies on though. I also don't have as much control over things like battery power savings. Also, there is no "screen shot" capabilities so I can't just take part of a picture. I have to send it to my pc via PDF and edit it there or send myself an email and download it on my smart phone and edit it there. It is nice to have a larger screen and carry it around with me. Alexa is now turned off. Alexa is no help and mostly annoying.

Great for a birthday present or anything like that

Another nicely made product from Amazon. Replaced the 7" fire tablet with this 10". Extremely easy to set up and use. Of course to get the most out of it you need to have an Amazon account.

This is a great tablet for a great price. They're probably better overall tablets. But for the money you just can't beat it. Great color, clarity, sound, and plenty of awesome apps and features.

as a speech device i use to communicate is a issue i have a apple computer but i like the size and for work ,mac is to heavy . i did not was interest in windows i choice android .

I was able to install google play and all the apps I wanted. Works very well.

This tablet is quick and has great applications. I use this for reading books and it has a great visual aspect and allows for expansion of memory with an sd card. So far I'm very impressed.

Purchased this tablet for an elderly parent and they are enjoying it! They watch Netflix on it along with checking their email and using Alexa that is pre-installed. Simple to use

Tablet is great for any user but tends to be on the heavy side when holding.

I got this to replace my old Kindle fire which was pretty old. This one has more features and a much larger screen which I like especially when I'm not reading but playing games.

I am enjoying my Fire HD 10 Tablet. It has a nice screen size and being thin is easy to take anywhere. I enjoy reading my novels on the Fire Tablet. I highly recommend this product to everyone.

I bought this for my son in California so I could do video calls with my 1 year old granddaughter using my Amazon show. Works great and its nicer than using a small phone screen.

Great size and really awesome display. Can't ask for anything more at this price point! Just wish you could load apps from other app stores. Amazon's selection is very limited and they don't allow your device to be recognized by other app stores.

Only dislike is that it doesn't have screen mirroring like previous models.

The specs list the weight but until I felt it in my hands, it is heavier than I expected. The cover I purchased for it with hand strap for reading requires some extra support because the flap on the cover pops due to the weight of the device. Design suggestion, move the speakers to the right side. Most covers open from the right and have the fold or binding on the left. When in HD viewing mode, the covers/stand points the speakers down towards the desk/table. This is the reason for 4 vs 5 stars. I am not really into apps and do mostly e-reading and was happy with my kindle paperwhite (half the size of the fire10) but my library added hoopla which included TV and Movie borrows hence the reason for my 10" purchase. And the sale price was amazing and too good to pass up!

This is the first kindle I have had that I can read without glasses. It does everything else as well. It did take some getting used to as it was set up a little different from my last one.

Purchased this as a gift for my wife as her previous tablets have had battery issues. First time plying with a fire tablet and it is fast and you can do everything any other tablet can.

My old one died and I was hesitant to get a new one wondering what all the changes would be but it is wonderful. Easy to register and very intuitive especially if you are used to an Android phone.
