excellent product, easy to read, great price, nice tablet. bought this for my wife. she loves it. easy to get books from amazon. light weight, would buy again

Great to take with me when traveling. Can get my emails, and check out what I want to on the internet and of great value. I download books from our county library. Saves me the trouble of taking the books and having to go to the library to check out and return books! Very inexpensive and useful! I must admit however I didn't use it much at first but one day I just started to play around and now I keep it charged and use it daily. I replaced a mini ipad with this and it has been a great exchange!!

bought this as a gift for my Mother. She wanted to to be able to access her Facebook and play her little games. Plus watch Netflix when her roommate is watching a program she wasn't interested in and this fit perfectly to what she needs and is easy for her to use.

I love this tablet especially the 10 inch screen perfect for watching videos, the battery is great and it isn't a slow tablet either. I highly recommend it.

This new fire tablet is my second and I really like the larger screen and more memory. It performs fast and is much improved over the 16 GB model.

Good tablet overall, screen is nice, battery life is great. Charges a little slow, but that’s a minor inconvenience. Is fast and responsive and for prime members a must have device.

Purchased it to replace an iPad and I like most everything. It took sometime to learn how to navigate around but the quality seems to be good for what I spent. However, I am finding that some apps are not available such as Firefox and the weather app I use. Also be aware every time you start it an ad comes up that you need to look at. I tried to change the default to no ads but they say the device is discounted to $149 and based on that I agreed to the ads. I can change the default to no ads but would then need to enter a credit card to pay a $15 fee. I realize that it’s a trick by Amazon but I just kept the ads.

The HD10 was bought to replace an iPad2 that had been slowed by updates. I wanted to get away from Apple and decided to buy this at $99.95 on sale. I discovered that it does everything I need and more, mainly browsing mail and watching YouTube. I don't use the camera, but find the screen to be very sharp and is widescreen. It has 2gb of memory and is very responsive. You need to be ok with Amazon being integrated in the UI, but I actually enjoy that, I enjoyed my iPads,but no longer want a new one. Love the FireHDs!

This is a great device for the money ... easy to read screen with a great HD quality picture for photos and media consumption. Easy to setup and integrate with Amazon services. Used on vacation to Panama - connected via wifi without issue. Consider adding side loaded app for real Android apps that aren't available via Amzon.

Big screen. Great for reading of course but Amazon Prime members get some great shows. I really use my Kindle every day, however I use it as a TV while traveling. I just download what I want to watch and or read and I am good as long as I have battery power. If you’re traveling and know you will be along time between charges, read a book. Watching movies will eat up battery power in any brand or device. Be it a phone or a top of the line laptop, watching videos will eat up the battery power fast. The Kindle is no different, except having the movie on the device memory will last longer because you are not downloading anything. My only opinion of a fault if there are any, is the charging system. The transformer from 120 V ac to USB gets a little too warm after charging. The cord is too short and the mini USB slot does wear out. That is why I am writing this review. This is my 4th Kindle. That sums up my opinion. I do not buy things that frustrate me. My phone is secondary in use compared to this device. I am a biased reviewer because I really appreciate the services provided by Amazon. Thank you

Good looking screen, pretty fast. I'll ding it for not being able to install the google pay app (yes, I found instructions but they didn't work) but the google play store can be accessed via a browser so you still have access to everything. Would be worth it at full price, very good deal for 1/3 off.

Needed a larger screen to share pictures with a family member having vision problems. Increased speed and capacity is a bonus.

Very good Display, some apps work only in landscape mode. ( require both hands) .. Wifi Issues when waking up from sleep mode... Bought mainly for Netflix

I hesitated before buying this because I already have a Fire HD 8. If you can get it on sale, the HD 10 is worth an upgrade because of the larger, sharper screen. One caveat: The battery life is shorter on the HD 10 than it is on the HD 8.

Easy to use even for someone who doesn't do electronics. Large screen but lite weight tablet for a lot less $$ than those brand name ones. Fast with plenty of storage and a memory card slot. An even better deal if you're an Amazon Prime member with access to their content but no worries if you're not...it's easy to add Google Play Store and access all of Google's apps. It has hands-free Alexa and nice built-in speakers. Great for reading books...since I don't like to read and it will read books out loud to me even without Audible.

As an owner of many generations of Ipads I am astounded by how well this tablet performs and looks for the money. Very satisfied with my purchase!

Alexa makes it so user friendly sometimes but other than that its performance is nice, size perfect and great color choice

Easy to use lots of apps has alexia. Price is reasonable it’s my 3 upgrade all were kindles never a problem with them.

I like the tablet from the point of reading books. However, Amazon has limited the Kindle Fire to access only Apps from Amazon. I had to do a work around to get the Flickr app, which is not available on Amazon apps. The limitation on apps is troubling to me. However, the workaround did work, II ignored Amazon warnings, and I was able to finally get Google Play which has the Flickr app. Now I can easily see beautiful photos posted on Flickr by my son. I am recommending this tablet with the notation that if you are interested in apps that are not in the Amazon app store, then you might think twice.
