Fire tablet

She loves it and never leaves the house without it. I will definitely be buying two more for my other niece and nephew so that they each have their own.

Great for Grandma

It was easy for her to set up and the graphics are terrific. She enjoys the sound and ease of using apps like Twitter and GMail. It's coming up on a year of use and the Kindle has not slowed for her nor has it any other issues. She uses KIK to text with her grandkids as well.

Great for media

Its great for watching movies, and videos, and reading books or comics on. This tablet is not meant to be a workhorse in terms of being used for processing and work applications. What it is meant for is entertainment and it succeeds. I wish the Amazon Fire store did have more offerings though. I miss some of my Google Play apps.

Already filled with unused apps

It’s a sturdy tablet once covered. I bought a sturdy cover for it before it came!! but my problem is it is STUFFED with unusable apps. Things I’m not interested in and you can’t delete them either. There is no space left to download a lot of things I wanted for him. It is definitely not kid friendly, you can’t download regular apps without downloading google play. Like YouTube kids and kids apps. BE AWARE you sign in to amazon account and it’s very easy to buy things. Now that would be great if it was mine but a 4 year old clicking every app and downloading left and right can spend a lot of money lol. I’ve had this tablet for almost a year now, the original charger charges fast, if you use any other charger it takes it forever to charge. And the charge doesn’t last long if you’re watching videos the whole time.
