I love my new 10" Kindle, watching movies is now more enjoyable. Searching the internet is easier and playing games a blast! The only thing I am disappointed with is the battery. I find myself recharging up to 2X a day! I guess it is to be expected with the larger screen and no upgrade on the battery specs. My 7" Kindle Fire HD can go all day and not need recharging. I emailed customer support about the battery issue, but received no response. Would be interested to hear what your experience has been with the battery issue.

Very nice and a good size. I've had all the odd kindle fires. The first one. The Third gen 7 HD, And now the Fifth Gen HD 10. Each gets better for different reasons. I like the larger screen to read with. The extra memory is a nice addition and finally and sd card slot that can take up to 128G. All round a nice tablet. Is it the best no but if you are an amazon fan and use the amazon services the fires are the bet in that environment.

My kids have had a kindle for years this is their 3rd one. We upgrade regularly. This kindle has a great picture and is very lightweight. It has some new features that remind me of an iPad. You can swipe to close apps from running in the background and you can view in tiles like on other kindles or in a store format similar to the iTunes Store. Overall this is a great kindle and we are still learning about all the new features and how to use them.

I bought this to replace my Fire HDX 8.9 tablet. I gave that one to my granddaughter since I only use it for going online and reading books. Her tablet had been damaged and she uses it for far more then I ever used it for. But, the Fire HD10 is an excellent tablet and the screen is larger too. Of course, it doesn't have everything the HDX has, including the Mayday button, but if you are looking for a tablet that doesn't cost almost $500. for 32 GB, then this is the one to buy. I also like that this one has the ability to use an SD Micro card to add additional memory to it. The picture quality is excellent and I'm very satisfied with my new tablet.

Absolutely love the big screen like reading a book because you can hold it sideways the lighting's Great easy to use have had no issues thus far would definitely recommend

For a 10.1" tablet the price is great it's fast they have added an sd slot battery time is pretty good screen is clear speaker is loud verry nice product.

Takes a bit of getting accustomed to, but the Fire 10 is a very good tablet. It's the 3rd Kindle that I have owned. OS is somewhat different as well as the layout compared to the 8" Fire. I like the added bonus of additional storage that I can add to the Fire 10 via mini memory card. I use the Fire 10 with Wifi and it does not seem to have the same 'antenna' as the 8" -- the 8" works better with Wifi than the Fire 10 - for me at least.

It is what I am looking for. Small, compact and light it is easy to lug around. The processor works quickly. With wifi and micro sd one can have all the space one needs and surf at leisure. If you are looking for work and pleasure then this tablet is not for you. For pleasure alone it is more than adequate and I would heartily recommend it.

I did have Kindle Fire HDX dropped n shattered. I had warranty wanted same replacement no longer in stock. I also had n pd $50 for a case. Was given gift card was forced to purchase even tho you know I pd for item n warranty , I did get the Kindle Fire 10. I like HDX better then had to buy a case to fit. Should have gotten cash I could of gotten HDX at Amazon or some place else.

I purchased this due to the Fire being designed to withstand the occasional drop or bump. I had gone through 2 tablets in a relatively short period of time. It works very well, it's quick, and very stable. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that you can't load all Android apps. You download the apps from the Fire App Store. (Unless you know how to sideload)

Like the bigger screen. Battery life not as long as I expected.

I bought this tablet for my daughter and at first she complained that she could not access the google play store from which she had purchased several apps. In order to get it to work I had to run a downloaded app from my computer while the tablet data cable was plugged in, which added the google play app to the tablet and changed the Amazon default to the Play store. Now she loves it and uses it all the time. She still has access to Amazon store as well. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the Play store problem.

I enjoy having a lager screen. It helps me see things better. Easier to watch movies , play games and chat on Facebook . I also enjoy reading my books with the bigger screen it is like having a large print hard cover book but much lighter .

Bought this for wife so I don't have a lot of personal experience with it, but she enjoys it. It is rather simple to use and makes use of Prime features even though she is not the member. With a bit of research and messing around, you can setup a family account which allows the other member to use your streaming and books. It doesn't allow access to purchased shows which is weird, but can be bypassed by setting up a second account on the tablet and using that. The only thing that annoys me is the ads that are displayed while in standby. It's not enough to pay for a tablet and still be forced to see ads? That's annoying to me.

I have been a kindle owner since they first came out. This version makes the lst kindle fire I've owned look like a museum piece. The clarity of the text for books is better, the speed arar faster and on the whole it is great. My major problem is that every time I open it from sleep mode it has an add for a computer game. I hate having to swipe this away every time I open it up as I check it frequently.

I'm really enjoying my tablet, however the battery doesn't last as long as my husband's tablet. Battery takes awhile to charge too.

The Kindle Fire HD is great for watching movies, reading onlie books, or browsing the web. The display has great picture quality.

I do enjoy the Kindle, but this model seems to have a problem with freezing. I took the first one back because I thought it was defective. It was exchanged for another, but this one does the same. Sometimes I have to turn it off to get it to restart.

The size was a little hard to get used to but once i did i really liked it. I would recommend this to everyone.

Very easy to use . Great video, and pictures. Only problem is it is hard to pick up WiFi
