This was a perfect gift for my mother. She doesn't surf the internet, download music, download movies, etc. She likes to read books and play her games. Perfect price point. Although I'm an Apple guy, she doesn't need what a iPad or even a Samsung Tablet can do.

I purchased this to replace my Kindle Fire HD I purchased when they first came out. It's lasted and run flawlessly all these many years but finally the battery gave out. Would LOVE to get a new one installed if they do that but I don't know if they do. That tablet had terrific sound... basically surround sound believe it or not. This one is a bigger screen than my first. Honestly the sound is good but not like the surround sound quality from my original. But good, clear, loud sound when needed. Easy to setup and use. So far I love it and am very pleased with this purchase. I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone needing a good tablet and if this lasts nearly as long as my first one you won't need a new one for years to come if you get one.

Purchased this for a road trip so my 3-year old would have something to watch while in the car for 10 hours. It's a great inexpensive substitute for an iPad, and I use it on Saturdays/Sundays to watch football.

I got this for my daughter with a good case. I was able to log into her Amazon kids profile no problem, she loves it and it has a good amount of space on it, it’s not super slow either. It’s perfect for what she uses it for !

My new Fire HD 10 is everything that I expected! The battery life is great along with the screen. Watching movies and TV Shows along with downloading moving is everything that I expected. The speed is also great. I would recommend this tablet and others to my family and friends.

We've had 5 Kindles over the years and they are great for quick internet access or to take traveling. The screen is much larger than a cell phone, but the Kindle is smaller and lighter than a laptop. So it's a good happy medium.

Very nice Amazon Kindle! Fully loaded with everything for easement purposes. My mother is going to love her birthday present (in October ). Makes me want one!! Who needs an expensive iPad!

The bottom line is it's fairly slow with a decent screen and a downgraded user experience, but it's hard to beat for the price you pay. Just know what you're getting it for. If all you want is a device for media consumption and a bit of light internet browsing, you can't get much better than this for the price. You should absolutely sideload the Google Play Store. There's plenty of instructions online to do so, and it gives you access to the apps you might be missing and want to use. The only caveat is to be sure you keep track of which apps you got from which app store when updating them. Also be sure to pick up a simple protective case. It's sturdy enough but worth the peace of mind in case you get complacent with the tablet. The battery life is okay, not great, not bad. It takes a few hours to fully charge, but slower charging is better for long term battery health anyway. If you're only using this for binging your favorite shows in bed, who cares? The charger isn't far.

I bought this on sale. It was a good price. Not bad for just a general tablet. Nothing special. The speakers are not loud and aren't the best sounding. Other than that, you get what you pay for. I wasn't looking for something awesome, so it works for me.

Great tablet! This is the third one I have purchased. Great value for the money. Fast, charges quickly and serves me well for checking my email, surfing the web, watching movies, and reading Kindle e-books.

We bought this latest edition of the Fire HD 10 to replace older Fire HD 10. Great improvement! Screen is much clearer and we both like the new shape better as it is easier to hold.

This 10 incher did not disappoint at all. As a primary use for Kindle books, I'm getting 20 or more % battery life then the 12 hours the specs suggest this tablet can get. The screen quality for reading is perfect. I typically set it to lower brightness (fixed) and there's no glare in the eyes nor any eye strain when using in a darkened bedroom at night. The faster processor then my older 8 inch HD clearly adds some speed to anything you do on this tablet. There's no lag at all in trying it for video, gaming, etc. As stated though, for me, I use a Fire Tablet primarily as a reader, period.

I bought this for my wife and she absolutely loves it! She mainly uses it for books and shopping. Fantastic product and wonderfully done by Amazon!

I love my new Fire HD 10 tablet. I read books, play games and keep up with social media accounts. It works great and holds a charge for many hours!!

Gift for my 10-year-old niece. I am now the favorite uncle!!!! My brother said it was easy to switch all of her old stuff to this new one and the battery lasts a lot longer.

Love it! Perfect size for games, I play a lot of Solitaire. Handy for looking up recipes. I also do shopping on my tablet. Definitely recommend.

It is so big, for my granddaughter and I believe it's the biggest one she has received. Birthday party tomorrow can't wait to see her expression.
