Not exactly what I expected from a kids tablet. even when set up for proper age group as well as parental restrictions, kids can just click on games to download themselves. Only, the games they can access are limited to age group. if connected to the web, they have pretty much access to store list on the main screen. The only way to restrict seeing them is to turn off connection. This makes it only show apps already downloaded. I was hoping my son (2) could only access what I put on there but the apps need wifi to work and this means he can get to store and click which doesnt verify. It aimply downloads. also he can access paid items within games which frustrates him as he has to have me close the popup. the tablet is great for learning apps if tjose apps were ACTUALLY age appropriate like my settings vlaim. Many of the games and apps are too complicated for a toddler. And again...paywalls in some og them. There is one partocular game that may even be complicated for older kids that he loves because it makes him think but after a few stages it gets too hard. You can uninstal apps like that but they can simply justclick it agaon on the home screen wjich dl it again. I havent rly looked into it too much to find a solution other than simply taking it offline...Otger than the lack of actual control over downloads, it is fast and hasnt broken thanks to the protection case. It has been thrown and bounced...stepoed on etc. so far so good. I give it a 3 only because It is a good tablet but It wasnt what I was looking for in a kids tablet. I recommend it for older kids but not toddlers like advertized.

I bought this for my 2 yr old grandson. It keeps him busy learning and entertaining while he is in his car seat. It’s a must if his mom leaves home. Get your grandbabues one. They will love it.

The Amazon Fire Kids Tablet is great it gives your child a tablet that you have control of what they can do by their age. There is an app that you can use to help with parental controls with a case to protect it from being damaged.

We upgraded my daughter's 7-inch kids kindle tablet for her birthday this year to this 10-inch kids kindle tablet. The tablet is great. It is so fast and i love the fact that it has a sound control on there so the kids don't hurt there. The apps are great. Love love love this tablet.
