Battery life is meh, storage could be better and even downloaded movies need WiFi. The “free” apps are ok but very limited with what’s free, a lot you can pay for if you want.

Just wish it was easier to go through and block the apps you don't want. I didn't want so many options on there and to hide them takes a while. I got two of them one for each kid and I gave up. The kids love them though.

The Fire HD 10 Kids does come with a 1-year subscription to Amazon Kids+, which provides access to thousands of age-appropriate books, videos, games, and educational content. After the first year, the subscription requires a monthly or annual fee to continue accessing the full content library. However, the tablet itself continues to function fully without the subscription—you can still use it to access your own content, apps, books, and videos purchased separately, use the parental controls, and browse the web with restrictions you set.
