Don't buy if you want Parental Controls

Not at all happy with ads being constantly streamed to my child. I bought this for my younger child (6yo), and the ads are not appropriate (social media/movie ads for 13+ etc..). You cannot make a separate login for your child, so they have complete access to everything. It's just not what I was looking for, honestly - better off putting the money toward a more expensive product with "A bigger brand name" that has parental controls. :/ We will use it for a short period of time then maybe sell it in for $20 to a neighbor :/

To remove ads, follow these steps: 1. Go to Manage Your Devices. 2. Select Devices, and then select your Kindle e-reader or Fire tablet. 3. Under Special Offers, click Remove offers. A pop-up window then displays the price to remove ads. 4. Select End Offers and Pay the Fee to proceed. Set up a child profile for Amazon Kids to add age-appropriate material to your Fire HD 10 Kids Pro. You can create up to 4 separate child profiles to use across your compatible devices. To do this, follow these steps: 1. Open the Settings menu. 2. Select Profiles & Family Library. 3. Select Add a child profile. 4. Enter your child's information then select Add Profile. I purchased three glass protectors on amazon and I was still not able to find the correct size. He is three. He needs a glass protector.
