Sturdy with great graphics.

It comes with a one year subscription to amazon Kids! It's powerful and has amazing graphics - great screen quality for his little eyes. Plus it's extremely sturdy. It's been dropped a bunch of times so far and it's fine. I highly recommend for any child under 13 yrs. Better than staring at the small phone screens.

It still works but he's 9 now so I upgraded to the newer Amazon Fire 10. He does so much with his old Amazon Fire so I know this will even be better for him. Best tablet for kids.

Also you can lock it down as far as fort knox if you want to for children who don't need to be on certain aspects of technology.
