It’s very child friendly and the case is very strong she dropped it twice before we got the screen protector and no cracks or nothing.

As an adult it does require that you sign into your Amazon account but its for security purposes. The kid profile is truly just for kids, not mistakes of content that does not fit your child. Your child will only see content appropriate for his / her age, and volume can be set, also screen time limit can be set as well. Icing on the cake would be the blue light / shade option.
