You can’t remove the app, you can block websites but the app isn’t affected. I wouldn’t mind if it was at least youtube kids, but it’s not. I’m considering returning it for that reason.

There are a few choices available on how you can block YouTube access on your Fire Tablet. First, if the profile that is being used on the device is a Child’s Profile, then you can block access to specific websites and allow/disallow specific apps from being used on your Child’s Profile. You can do this by either accessing the Parent Dashboard website or by accessing the Amazon Kids app on the device itself from an Adult Profile. Another way is to go into your Settings and enable Parental Controls on the device and set a PIN. This can give you an extra layer of security as well. If all else fails, you can always contact Amazon Customer Support at 888.280.4331 for further assistance in accomplishing this or troubleshooting any specific issues you are having.
