I got this on sale $50 off so it was a great value have been looking to get one for at least a year. Being on sale sealed the deal. I have a 8 HD I got in 2017 which still works great but wanted to up grade. Only issue is start up seems slower than the 8HD and shutting down screens to go to the next search is not as easy just cannot get out of a site by X out. That may be a learning curve issue on my part. Also start up seems to take longer but picture quality is better. Over all a good value at the sale price would not upgrade at full price as the 8HD still works well. Which would I buy new it really depends on how much you use it and how big the difference is in price. Use it a lot and have a lot of apps and wireless charging is a big thing for you than the 10 plus if just to knock around once in awhile and the 10 plus is not on sale I would get the 8HD if it is on a good sale l.

I Love my Amazon Fire Tablet !!! It was highly recommended by my son because he had bought 4 ... 3 for my Grandkids & one for my daughter in law. So I bought mine & I am Sooooo Happy I did !!! Great Purchase Ever & I highly recommend it ... It is so clear & movies or anything you watch is Amazing!!! However ,,, I am still learning different things & loving new things I am finding.

My wife and I have started to travel - She loves to read - but doesn't want to take a lot of books so I bought her an Amazon Fire and she loves it. Now when we travel - she can take her whole library with her.

Bought this for my wife so she didn't have to play on her phone all the time. She likes to read, play games and look up sales. With the 10" screen it make easier to see and fast for the simple tasks.

This is a nice value tablet. It has better Wi-Fi and Bluetooth reception than the Lenovo 10e that some might also be considering. It also feels snappy compared to the 10e. I suppose the 10e is going into a deep sleep mode to preserve battery or something, but this Fire HD 10 Plus feels more responsive. This Fire HD 10 also has far superior speakers. Of course, you are stuck with Amazon's software, and they cracked down on allowing 3rd party launchers to fully replace the Amazon one. If you buy this, don't just connect it to Wi-Fi and leave it sitting unattended if you plan to use Fire Toolbox to its full potential. The tablet will automatically update to the latest firmware in an irreversible way without asking (I knocked a star for these attempts to block software). Even after the update, you can still use Fire Toolbox to add Google Play, Chrome, etc., it's just the launcher replacement and a few other features that you can't change at the moment. However, if you just use it for web browsing, watching YouTube, etc,, it's a nice inexpensive tablet that is handy and plenty fast for these basic tasks.

I love the bigger screen. Not to crazy about everything going through Amazon though.

Great item almost as good as an IPAD but cost a lot less, even though the price seems to be steadily climbing, if it gets much higher pricewise would be better to just buy the IPAD. Also unless you have a powerful WIFI setup at home it gets laggy pictures. need at high end WIFI router of DOCSIS 3.1 or higher to get around this.

A very reasonable price for a powerhouse like this. It's easy to install the Google apps and services, after which it becomes a proper Android tablet. Display is very glossy, I recommend installing a matte screen protector.

It is a great item. It connected to my phone automatically and started downloading pictures. I was shocked that i didnt have to work as hard to do the start up as i did with the 8. I play games and read books, it picked it all up right away. The downside is that there is no wireless charger available for this one, also i ordered the screen protector for it and it doesn't cover the entire screen. It only covers 10". There is a .1" gap on the edge that isnt protected. I do not like that at all. The other thing is that the lighting will go up and down on occasion when i don't necessarily want it to, but i can handle that.

Great Holiday deal for 32gb. Can sideload Google Play (no endorsement for this, was told it was possible). Only some apps can be stored on micro SD, but not all. So you have to watch how many apps you install. Great battery life.

This is a fantastic tablet that allows you to do a lot. It is very fast, more than capable of running applications and games without issue, and is offered at a great price.

Best Amazon tablet so far. It is fast, not lightning fast, but much faster than any Amazon tablets before. Good screen. Application selecting is not as good as in Google store, but this tablet is good for Amazon Prime members

I’ve been buying my kids Amazon Tablets and warranties here for over 4 years. Best Buy has never given me any problems when I’ve needed a new one. They’ve always kept up to their word.

I love my tablet. I read a lot and I don't think I could live with out it. I do think that it should have a little bit more memory and a faster way to download audio books
