Nice basic tablet

That being said, this is a nice compact tablet with a clear screen (even though it is not high resolution) that has all of the main apps that most people want (email, browser, netfilx, XM, etc.). Don't buy if you live in the Google ecosystem. Aesthetically, this tablet is a bit plain and dense feeling.

Excellent product for college ebooks

I bought this for my son for his own use for the rest of the semester and he couldn't be happier. The text is small, but works for him.

Perfect Christmas presents

They had previously been using my older generation Fire and having their own is easier for all of us. I set them up with the Freetime and they love them. There's more storage space on these than on the kid's kindles which was the deciding factor in my purchase.
