I was getting this to replace my other kindle which I had for years. It finally died and this one was on sale...I did not look at the size which 6'' fits in the palm of your hand so go for 7 or 8 if you want bigger. I am okay with this device because I have my kindle app on my ipads, iphone, and other apple devices so my kindle books go with me wherever. I love my kindle I mainly just put books on it. Which I have probably over 100 or 200 books on mine...Im a book-a-holic.

Bought this for my wife for Christmas and she loves it. So much more than just a book device! She uses it for just about as many things as I use my iPad mini.

I am very happy with this product. At first thought it might be too small, but the screen is the same size as my old Kindle reader, and can do so much more.

I got the Fire for my dad for Christmas. It was easy to set up and he was using it in minutes. It was his first tablet and the learning curve was minimal.

I purchased the 6 inch version because the 7 was sold out everywhere around christmas. Not a bad reader for A 6 inch screen. Would have prefers the 7 though. No real complaints.

It is much clearer than the previous model and easier to operate. The brighter background makes it easier to read with any kind of lighting.

Right size for my elderly father in law who likes to email his friends in China. Wishes there were more apps in Chinese language however.

I purchased two Amazon Fire HD 6 tablets as gifts. I can think of no better way to give the gift of portable entertainment to tweens.

When it was delivered, I initially intended to return to BB, not opening. But eventually decided to try. And it's really great. Pros: Easy of use, nice resolution at 6" screen, cheap price, bigger than cell phone screen but not so big as a computer, quick switching ON/OFF. Cons: No way to type Korean although I can read, a little bit heavy and bulky feeling compared to my galaxy note cell phone. In summary, I'm satisfied and decided to no to return. It's worthy to keep.

I bought 2 Kindle Fires for my 10 & 11 year old grandsons. They love them & can navigate the kindle with no problem. This was one of their favorite gifts. Big hit.
