Bought 2 of these little gems for my elderly parents to play there games on surf the web. They are ecstatic with them. Perfect size. They were toting big laptops around, which are so old the have to remain plugged in so kinda inconvenient. But they are thrill with these. The Christmas sale price was amazing for a tablet of this quality.

I got this Amazon tablet on a Best Buy sale. It’s an excellent device for the price. Don’t expect to buy this & expect it to perform as an iPad. It’s not an iPad. It’s a good tablet for games and reading. It also works well with videos- especially Prime Video. This is good for entertainment purposes only.

Well I love my tablet, but can’t understand why not simple as first one. My old tablet was in perfect condition, but told no longer can you order books after August. I just want for reading but you get all the other stuff also which is a plus. Price was really great.

Decent tablet, filled to the brim with Amazon ad bs, though if you have Amazon everything it probably won't bother you, but if you're like me and just want it for offline Netflix, hulu, then the ridiculous amount of Amazon ads are annoying. Does what I need it to do, would be five stars if the ads weren't so prevalent and annoying.

This is not a bad tablet. It really depends on the price point, however. During the course of the year, these things can fluctuate as much as 50%. If at full price, I would probably recommend the HD10. You get an larger screen and better processor (octo-core vs quad-core). If on sale, this can be a huge leap over the HD7 lineup for minimal cost increase.

I had owned a paper white. I liked it a lot, but when I saw how clear and bright the images showed up on the Amazon - Fire HD 8 10th Generation - 8" - Tablet - 32GB, I decided to buy this instead. It is so handy to carry around and I like that it was on sale for half price when I purchased this.

I had the 1st generation of the Kindle about 8 years ago. Liked it and decided to give this kindle a try for the price. It's awesome! It does everything I need it to and goes fast. The battery life is also very good on it as I only need to charge it about every 2 days depending on how much I use it. Also a great device to read books on.

Great and easy to use! I got this for my mother for Christmas who was opposed to having a tablet or to reading e-books. But she was pleasantly surprised and even said, "This is pretty cool!" when I showed her everything she could do on it. Reading, watching Prime TV, Facebook, YouTube and a number of other things she enjoys.

A significant upgrade from my 4 year old kindle. No real limitation to apps that I use regularly on my Android phone but no native connection to google store so apps that are saved there will not transfer save points to the kindle without some tweaking. Lots of library apps available. all in all a good low cost tablet choice.
