I purchased this for my 5 year old niece she loves it, especially during traveling, would advise purchasing a protective case

Adapting to Amazon App Store vs Google Play

It's a great adjustment from the ease of using my Samsung, but I'm adapting to utilizing Amazon App store vs. Google Play; and the differences in navigating screens. I'm not disappointed considering the price and do recommend it for those wanting to save $$$. It's great for downloading my library ebooks and audiobooks.

For use as an all purpose tablet, it is extremely fast and responsive, and a great value. The main drawback is having to manually put the Google Play Store on the tablet, which is no easy task. Still, it is well worth the money, no matter how it is used.

I am a nursing instructor and have to hand grade a lot of assignments. Being able to literally hand write comments, with the pencil,, on the documents in the exact spot is amazing. I am not the techies person and this is easy to use and very portable. So 5 stars for it fulfilling my needs.

Low cost tablet is a win

It's easy to side load the google play store it does not require root access. My only gripe is amazon not letting you delete their bloat-wear from the tablet.

I am mostly using it for watching videos and listening to podcasts. I have an older fire tablet that is still working, but the speed of this one is so nice. This one is also slightly larger than my older one. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a tablet.
