The step up from a 7" Fire to an 8" Fire is great! Love the twilight blue color for both the Fire and the case. I had to figure out how to enable "USB data transfer" in order to send pictures to my computer but once that was done I love taking pictures with it. We don't have smart phones and this device's Wi-Fi and camera capabilities make trips, etc so easy! All in one easily transportable device. Great purchase! We bought a second one so my husband and I each have one available to us whenever needed.

We've had the tablet for 10 days now. So far it's been working great! We use it everyday to watch programs and the picture quality is great. Speed is good too.

Works well. With a little change in programs I was able to use Google play and other programs for my business. Highly recommend the 8, especially over the 7.

It's easy to use, reliable and it has a nice picture. I would certainly recommend this model to others.

Lightweight, sturdy, easy to use, great color HD, excellent video, and bluetooth compatible with a number of accessories. Sound should be louder.

There is an overall size difference, even though the screen is the same. The power connector is stronger and a better choice. The unit is faster. For my needs this choice was the right way to go.

Hi bought this fire hd8 a few weeks ago at Best Buy. It is well made easy to use and the battery is the best thing it’s awesome. Would recommend buying it.

Great for traveling and keeping the kids occupied in the car. They can play games, listen to music or watch movies. The graphics are great. My grandchildren love this.

I bought both the 8" plus and a regular 8" 2020 versions and I like them both. Best Buy had a trade in program for prior Amazon tablets and these are definitely an upgrade. Amazon did a nice job in putting the front facing camera in landscape mode and put in a nice processor upgrade. Just understand what you are buying. It's not an ipad mini nor does it pretend to be. And if you put the two up against each other (or even compare it to the new 10" amazon tablet) you'll see quite a difference but when you just use it on it's own, it's just fine. Dollar for dollar, the new 10" is the better value BUT I just really like the 8" form factor. It's incredibly portable.

Wife wanted a cheap little tablet to play games on. This was a perfect fit. Does what she needs for a lot less than a $500+ ipad. no brainer.

I still think the 10" amazon tablet is the better deal but this is a good little machine. I use mine by my bed and as an alarm clock.

A much need tablet to do a variety of tasks.Has been very reliable with no problems.The size is what I like and the ease to get where I want.
