We use Alexa, and primarily use voice commands to a network of Echo devices (two Gen 1 Echos, a couple of Gen 1 Dots, a Spot and an Eco Show gen 2 (10")--we even have a Tap, but use that mostly as a travel music player), but wanted a visual control panel that was always in one place. We chose this because of the low price and the fact that it's got Alexa integrated, because it's from the same tech company as Alexa (amazon, of course). It works, but there are pitfalls, which we chalk-up to buying an inexpensive piece fo tech: (1) battery life is short -- even for the occasional use we give it, so if you were to use as a main tablet, it's got to be frustrating and(2)the processor is slow, so it's not as responsive as other tech we're used to. Black Friday deal made it cost about $70, if I recall. It's OK. Just OK.
