Messed up screen

It had a red line straight down the middle of the screen. She drove 30 min away with the receipt and was told she would have to pay the difference of $40 for another one. She argued and got the manager who ordered her a new one without extra charge. She couldn’t get pink, they said they were out everywhere so had to get black.

I'm sorry for the difficulty you are having, the Fire HD 8 tablet includes USB-C for easy charging. The tablet charges completely in under 5hrs using the included USB-C cable and 5W power adapter included in the box. If you didn't receive these items in your box, you may think about reaching out to the store you purchased the item from so that you can find out if the item could have been returned or possibly sold as an 'Open Box' item? These should be staying connected just as well as any other device connected to your Wi-Fi. Salesperson gave a kindle instead of a cover.
