It's ok just right for our baby I like we can set a lot of parental blocks

I've had kindle fire 7 and an 8 in the past. So far this one works much smoother than my old 8. Very pleased so far. Just hope I don't have same problem as in past where device won't charge at all..But if I do I have geek squad protection so not going to worry to much

It’s slow to respond and catch up, and there’s so many ads it’s ridiculous. I would not buy again. I’d rather spend more money in a iPad just to avoid the annoying ads even on the home screen Returned.

My daughter loves her new tablet. Her and my other daughter we're sharing and Samsung tablet but because in such a fan of Amazon I decided to do research and I ended up getting here this one and she loves it. She even said it has more features than her previous one.

I bought this as a gift for a family member. I had bought three of the same last thanksgiving as gifts as well. It's a great tablet that pretty much serves most tablet needs. But, unlike a lot of Android tablets, it gets updated by amazon and is pretty secure.

I bought this as a gift for my wife and she really enjoys it. It's simple to set up and to use. She reads, plays, and engages in social media on it. It would also be great to watch movies on if you were on a trip. Great display and a great price (it was on sale).

I had a kindle before purchasing this product. I love the new features and color screen. It is easy to read at night and the filter to remove the blue light eliminates the eye strain. I had it read short stories to me at bed time last night. That is a great feature.

bought for kids during long car rides. battery life could be better

Bought this tablet for my daughter to read books. But it also was able to play videos that came with her new guitar. GREAT! A good Christmas surprise for the both of us. My daughter LOVES this tablet.

Love the features you get with such an affordable tablet. The only issue is the app store doesn't have a lot of the apps that google play or itunes has but theres a really easy way to get Google play on it and then its basically an android tablet for $50.

Received the Amazon Fire HD8 and it works well, BUT it is clogged up with constant ads. I had to contact Amazon to turn them off, at an additional cost of $15+tax.. When promoting this item at this price, it should have a notice that the price is discounted by the inclusion of constant ads!

This is our second Kindle Fire 8" and sixth Kindle fire ever purchased. Great for kids with freetime or just content restrictions. Works seemlessly in the Amazon environment, but has problems if you want google play stuff. Also takes up to 400gb sd card.

I'm using this as a bed side clock. So nothing about being used as a tablet. It's working with setting (voice) alarms and basic information. Picked over the 10 inch model since I didn't want something that big on my bedside table. Working great.

This is very difficult to use. Maybe I'm technically challenged!

Bought these for my 5 and 6 year old to use with educational program over the summer break. As an techie, I probably would opt for a more traditional Android tablet or laptop, but for kids, or less tech savvy users, it's great. Hardware specs are impressive given the price.

So far I still have kindle fire working. Bought 2 for my kids( beginners).the only CON would be the charging port , after a while charger won’t make good contact with tablet and will have issues charging tablet. Anyways good for the price and beginners!

I was pleasantly surprised by the Kindle Fire HD, I was strictly an Ipad user but I am glad I made the switch. Much more affordable option when it was time for a new tablet. A few bugs in the app store app, but overall I am very happy with it.

My grandson loves the "Fire". He can entertain himself and his brother and sister while traveling. He can find games to play as well as favorite shows to watch. It has been great for him to learn to use the technology associated with it.
