I bought this for my wife to use with shopping and recipes. The ads are a bit much, but the tablet itself is responsive and easy to use. Overall, the product feels like it is high quality. I don’t regret the purchase.

Bought this for my wife to replace a Nexus 7 that had seen much better days. This is part of the Amazon ecosystem of course, but she has found it to be a great, intuitive tablet that fulfills all of her modest tech needs.

I confess i was a little disappointed with the degree of built in advertisements, and the fact that it's an android device without access to many of the Google play apps, games etc. But, the dollar value can't be denied, and its definitely a decent buy.

I got this little tablet to carry around with me because it fits in my purse. I like it for what I got it to do - have something to read all the time, but it's REALLY slow. So if you're impatient and don't want to wait for apps to load, don't get this!

Needed to get a replacement Kindle for my wife. Did a lot of research online about new generation models of Kindles and sizes. Best Buy had all the models and sizes in stock. And their price was the same as everyone else.

This is an all around great tablet for surfing the web. The word processor is ok for minor work. Apps like Netflix, PureFlix, Crackle, and Hule steam well with a crystal clear picture. Good for photos also.

Very good for kids and new users But has a limited set of apps you can get Not very good camera Good resolution and Can watch movies very well and listen to music

I bought the product for my husband as he was having a hard time reading the books he downloaded on his phone. He could not see the words very clearly. He is now able to read his books without much interaction.

Downside is that you are limited to Amazons app store, no access to Google app store. Battery life not so great if you are playing videos or games. Hate the optional case. Uncomfortable to hold when watching videos ect.

I purchased this tablet to travel to Europe. Very responsive and capable. Not crazy about the browser but managed to download Chrome. Working great and I was able to access Gmail and messages off my phone.

Good tablet. Works well. One problem is it doesn't get google play store unless you side load it. The other problem I've come across is it disconnects from the wifi when not in use and then you have manually reconnect it.

Bought this for my 87 year old mother-in-law who wanted to use something for word games, etc. She's still getting used to it but she'll learn.

Amazon does it again with the latest Fire HD with Alexa - this is great for tablet computing and now public libraries are adding a service to get books on your Fire HD too - OK so its no IPAD -BUT at this price no one will care

This is my first Amazon Fire, and it is superb. I don't know how to use the camera, poor resolution, but I need to figure it's limits. Otherwise, everything I touch here is great. Very reasonable price.

This kindle is neat. I love how I can save my lesson plan documents for work on the kindle. Of course I enjoy Netflix and amazon films. Not to mention making amazon purchases. This product is great!

The new amazon tablet is awesome. It has HD, Bluetooth, nice sound quality and is a perfect gift for someone that likes to take reading or movies on the go. It works great on road trips or plane rides.

My old original Kindle was not holding a charge. So I bought this one. It was very easy to transfer all my purchased music and books. The camera is very good, and it comes with Alexa. It's great!

So far, so good. This replaced and older Kindle and this one will take some getting used to. Everything seems to be in a different place. I would not go anywhere without my Kindle. I love them!!!

This tablet is the best kept secret on the market. Does almost everything my iPad Air 2 does, but for a fraction of the cost. Time will tell how it lasts in the long run but so far I’m very impressed.

Very compact speaker, so it's easy to transport. I like that it's also waterproof. I wish it had music controls on the speaker beyond just the volume.....didn't think about it when I bought it though. Still, very high quality.
