I gave this as a gift to a teenager. She uses it mostly for facebook and to play some games. It works fine for her. She had another smaller version of this fire that only lasted a year. I hope that this one will out last that one!!

Purchased this for my son to carry to class instead of laptop. This has been much more convenient and enable him to utilize online textbooks instead of purchasing/renting expensive course material.

We bought this for our three year old son. He loves it. Plus it has many options for us to keep him from seeing things he shouldn't. The layout is really simple also making it great for children or adults!

Love this inexpensive little tablet. It's not the flashiest tablet available, but it works every time and operates well inside the Amazon Ecosystem.

I bought these for my kids for Christmas a year and a half ago and they are still working fine! They are able to download the apps and games they want and they haven't gotten too slow or bogged down.

This is a wonderful tablet/e-reader. I bought it for my daughter but I probably use it just as much. The games look and play well, the features are nice, and I like the extras that come with the books.

Got it for a great price before xmas. I am using it primarily for email and Facebooking. It is not as fast as my Ipad but works as well as I need it. The capability of the book reading is a plus.

I have used this so much it should have quit! I bought it for work and use it daily in my classroom to contact home , keep track of discipline and even read to my students.

Overall quality is good. Not much for kids as the not very user friendly. However enjoy reading my books at nighttime on this tablet. Gave it 5 stars, Worth the price got it for a steal!

Blue light filter can be set to turn on anytime before bedtime. Text is clear and easy to read. Almost any app can be downloaded that you might want. Great addition to my digital products.

It was very stressful to use this device, because regardless how you want to use this device, it always steers you to buy stuff from Amazon, either products, or videos, or music. If you don't intend to buy a lot stuff from Amazon, this device is likely to drive you crazy. iPad and Android tablets in general do not stress you out this way. If you want to buy an application, you can certainly do so in your will and based on your own needs. This is pretty much a advertising device for Amazon's benefits. That said, I would only use this device if Amazon pays me monthly fees to use it.

In was looking for a low end tablet that was just a bit smaller then my Samsung and bigger then my cell phone. Would be good if I could load all my other Google apps.

Although the Amazon Tablet has come along way from it's humble beginning as e-reader, it still feels like it needs more tweaking if it wants to stay in the ring with heavyweights like Microsoft, Samsung and Apple.

For what i use it for reading and to mirrow on the smart tv is amazing. Anything more complicated than what i use it for i would reccomend to look further options. For the price and what i use it for is great

This is a good product for a child to play games and watch YouTube videos but it does not have alot of apps for adults that are normally on the app store. Overall it works pretty well.

Tried to watch youtube and other video from different sources but it was horrible. The sound would lag w or 3 seconds behind the viewing. Returned for Samsung S2 tablet which is wonderful. You get what you pay for.

This is a good inexpensive tablet. It has expandable memory and has a good screen resolution. It does everything I need it to. Even used it to take notes during my college courses.

Amazing how far these have matured, added a SD card to make this a movie library as well as book library...HD is oustanding for watching movies and videos. It goes wherever I go...

Although my Kindle Fire does not have the speed of my iPad, it does everything a tablet should do. It sits on my nightstand for reading, surfing the web, and ordering cool stuff on Amazon, etc.
