Has a wonderful display and is very dependable. They are on it alot and never complain about stalls and such, they do alot on it from games to reading to watching videos with no problem.

Great control over content, especially getting reading time before games. Can see everything they are doing, and screen time can be rewarded and changed between weekday and weekends.

Got this tablet for me kids and they love them. The ads that are on the lock screen are a little annoying but a quick phone call to Amazon and they took good care of me. Can't beat these for the price.

I surprised my husband with the Fire HD tablet, and he really enjoyed it. He gets to watch his shows and gets to read his favorite books. He is really happy with the purchase..m

I purchased it for nephew loved it was cool. I didn't want to get tablet expensive can break damage. its not easy for kids. I installed google play store worked on Amazon. it did! cool!

Camera is pretty good. Tablet is nice if you don't mind all of the amazon advertising. Problems with touch screen on occasion but for the price its great even if it only lasts a year. Do love amazon.

I bought this tablet couple weeks ago and it works great. My son (8 years young) love gaming games on this device. It doesn't have the best camera but its still usable. Overall, I am satisfied with this product.

The sound doesn't work very well. I have it all the way up but it is not loud. If I am more than a few inches away I can't hear it all. I tried all the fixes I found online, but none of them made the sound any louder. The battery runs down pretty fast, and I have to charge frequently. I never could figure out how to sync my eBooks so I just went back to using my Kindle. My goal was to condense down to one device, but now I just have two devices to manage. Kindle battery is great; Fire battery is bad.

Got this for my son and he loves it. We use it for his school work and learning games. It has the ability for parental controls you can set time limits for your child and more

i need to know how to use its potential, it appears that it can do lots of stuff, I need some type of training course. the display is really much better than my kindle fire 7"

I share the table wit my grandson and we both love all that it can do. I am reading more than ever now and he is playing more games because this tablet has so much more to offer.

We bought this as a gift for our son's birthday - he couldn't be happier with color, and we couldn't be happier with the price. We now own 3 Kindles, and have been happy with every one!

I bought my kindle to use as a portable tv. I downloaded apps, used my Direct TV subscription and take it with me. Loved it so much I bought both my daughters one!

This was for my mom. Make sure they have their own Amazon acct or set your settings to ask for a password for purchases. Buy with one click is a blessing and a curse

My wife has the Samsung tablet and has better access to games. I can't get the same games on my new Amazon Fire, but in general the quality is top notch - the inability to load apps desired is disappointing.

My daughter loves this tablet. Its rugged and withstood many bumps and falls. Amazon has plenty of apps, movies and games available to keep her entertained.

My Fire HD 8 does everything it's supposed to.It looks good and I'm very satisfied with it.The salesperson could have been a bit more informative,but all in all I'm happy.

I was looking for an inexpensive tablet to search the internet and view emails. I got that and more. I can stream movies, read headlines for The NY Times and even use Alexa.

it works well, my only real gripe is that you're limited to the Amazon store for apps and some apps aren't the real provider, but a 3rd party app that is...hokey. Other than that for $50 I can't complain.

For the most part the Kindle 8 is a great deal for the money. The volume was giving me a problem but it was resolved quickly by Amazon. Overall quite happy
