Basically like a bigger older version of the phone you have in your pocket right now. But just to have as another device or a reader is definitely nice.

Great little tablet. Served well. It has been a while but I would still get another Amazon fire tablet if I needed another one.

Bang for the buck you cannot beat this tablet. Does all that I need for now. Available selection of Amazon Store apps. could be better, but, for the money ....... :-)

This is a good tablet for internet, Facebook, Netflix, Hulu and email. Only complaints are the locked screen wallpaper is an ad and the screen is not as bright as an iPad but a winner for the price.

Amazon Fire is easy to handle and read with 8" display screen. Alexa voice is convenient. Downside is Amazon doesn't allow you to download Google as a search tool. Overall good tablet for the price.

This is a great tablet for kids. Great security features to "lock down" the tablet so the kids can only do what you want them to do.

We buy them for give away items at events. Certainly not quality level of an iPad but very nice little travel devices when you dont want to take expensive stuff overseas too.

Alexa works best on this device. Even it doesn't run full android system but its good enough for my need. Both pleasure and a bit of work sometimes. Cant beat that price

I bought this tablet for traveling only. For the price it has worked great. It's not a beast performance wise but for general consumption it is fine.

I bought this tablet, so I can watch movies while waiting for my wife when she goes to her doctor, I love the fact that it links up with my Lenovo with no problems. Strong yes to this product

This tablet has all the popular apps and an app store to get more. You can sideload the google play staore as well for more goodness.

I bought 3 of these for my grandkids for Christmas. They are perfect. Added parental controls and a kids proof case and all their favorite apps and they were good to go!

The Kindle Fire isn’t an iPad, for for the price, it can’t be beat. I use it for audiobooks, Netflix, Kindle books, News apps, and even to check on my cloud cams.

Tablets were used to ease kids into tablet responsibility and exposure to apps (both educational and games). For that purpose, these Fire tablets were more ideal than the more expensive Apple iPads. We got a good two years of usage out of these tablets, but recently switch to iPads as they were more powerful for virtual learning. The fire tablets still serve well as eBook readers, interfaces for our Ring camera, and occasional web surfing.

Got this tablet for my father-in-law, who is 75 years old. He has not had a problem with it (with the exception of having to give a credit card to register with Amazon.

it is a good tablet for basic usage. everything works great and is easy to use but material feels a little cheap. for the price is a good option

I had serious trouble with my original Kindle and one of the Geek Squad helped me for over an hour. All was fixed and I bought a newer model also. Great service!

My husband has never had a smartphone or touch screen laptop or tablet. The Fire HD was easy for him to set up and learn how to use. He loves it and is very pleased!

Bought it for the kids to use For our trip to Europe to watch videos. Should have tried it out to see how it works before going so I could've returned it before 15 days. The external speakers are barely above a whisper, the screen would have a green tint that you can't remove and just turn back to normal for no reason at all just to name a few things. Should've spent a little more and bought another iPad mini to accomplish the things I needed it for.

It's a cheap tablet but useful for reading and websurfing. How can we blame resolution and variety of application. It's Amazon Kindle but just HD and color. Satisfied.
