Great tablet for price point love the Alexa feature

My mom got this as a birthday gift and loves it!!!

My daughter loves it. Great for a 10 yr. old tablet

Good for reading but video quality is not so good.

Addition of Google play store would be added value.

Has done a fair job. Issues with the charging port slipping inwards though and had to make adjustments to get the charging cable in. Unsure whether that's a product problem or something my mom did to the device... Guess u could test and see

I love my technology, but this is one piece of technology I regret buying. I had a very old Kindle and wanted something to read in low light situations. I saw the Fire HD was priced lower than some Kindle models. Well, I know why. The operating system is frustratingly sluggish at best. Amazon would do well to move closer to pure Android. The battery life is the worst. I thought I would suffer my way through it, but I finally gave up and went with a Kindle Paperwhite.

This is a kids tablet. At the end of the day it does everything that a tablet should do. However the built quality is not great. There is constant ads and way slower compare to and iPad.

Bought as a gift for an older woman. She nor her daughter could figure out how to use this reader to down load books. The intent was to use the reader feature on audio as the lady it was bought for has deteriorating eye site

I would not have purchased this item if I was told it was full of pop up ads from Amazon. It does what I need and was told by staff it would do. However, no one mentions the ads.

This was a replacement for my daughters tablet through the warranty. It's OK but has very little storage. A lot of the storage is used up by the tablet, so not much left for using.

This tablet would have gotten higher marks but it frequently loses the Internet signal and requires resetting the device. By frequently it is a daily occurrence. No other device we have has encountered this problem.

I hated this tablet so much at the time of purchase. I was able to call Amazon support to remove the ads for me. I will not buy any more Amazon tablets .

Picture quality seemed grainy. We tried streaming video on amazon prime with it and it buffered some times even though we have an extremely fast Wi-Fi. For the price though it's not bad. We use it for our kid's apps

Don't Waste your money on this product. There are way better tablets for the same price. There are restrictions on the apps you can download. I expected more from this tablet. I didn't even keep this tablet for a week!

Everything worked well and a little faster than the 7 inch but a little harder to hold with one hand. Ended up returning and keeping the 7 inch tablet instead as it was better for me. Still a great deal

Tablet works great however not all android apps work. Does not support google store and at this time wont even run their own new version of Alexa app so cant even use it for much more than book reader.

Tablet is slow, resolution below average. Somewhat hard to negotiate apps and move around. Use for backup device only, much better choices available. Takes forever to charge up.

This was a good deal for my grandkids. The 2 yr. Amazon subscription that came with it for free was cool. A little slow when you're used to faster devices like you phone.

I'm not crazy about it, honestly haven't used it a while. I bought it while it was on sale for 50 dollars but the lack of compatibility with Android stuff is kind of a bummer.
