Worked perfectly when first bought. Then charging port went silly. I had to insert the charging cable a certain way or else it won’t charge. This problem started after warranty had expired

After less than a year of infrequent use, it was getting harder and harder to charge. Very few chargers (even new ones) would get it to charge.

We purchased the Fire for our 9 year old. The price is right for an entry level device and I don't worry too much about it breaking. The charging port has already started to fail, however.

It works fine. battery is terrible probably because of the constant adds. i constantly have to clear the cache or it will run supper slow.

I used to own a Kindle PaperWhite. This does so much more. I am still trying to master all the features. Amazon technical support, coming at you live from Asia, is woefully inadequate.

I got this for my boyfriend for a Christmas gift. He liked it but doesn't use the internet much & has a smart phone so I returned. It's good for someone looking for something basic

this is a solid device for the money, but the downside is that you have to deal with amazon's closed eco system of apps. if all you enjoy is amazon content then its 5 stars

Resolution was great, speed was good. Bought for grandson, he didn't like it because it would not run Google apps and couldn't watch u-tube without purchasing additional apps.

Good tablet for Amazon lovers, not so good for Android lovers. Too much Amazon advertising ad nauseum.. Can't get Google Play apps. Miss google. Returned to store. thanks

Cant beat it for the price. But the internal memory is an issue. Certain things cant me moved to the memory card so it regularly fills up and needs things deleted.

A decent tablet. No google store. And at this price point, it included ads on the home screen. You can pay to have them removed permanently, but i was unaware of that.

Too many Amazon advertisement that you can’t get rid of on this tablet. Took my 6 year old a long time to adjust to it as she was familiar with using my Apple Ipad.

Maybe it’s just me being dumb about this ... but I can’t seem to find use in this thing. I have gotten used to iPads and maybe that’s why. But I find it hard to navigate and discover all the functions and to set up this thing ... it just doesn’t seem as multitasking as I thought it would be ... I might have gone into this with the wrong expectations ... I have tried using this for about 3 days after the purchase and it’s just been collecting dust ...

The Unit had good screen resolution and the size was not bad but, Not at all impressed with the Amazon operating system.

Not satisfied at all. The tortoise and the hare. Not exactly the hare. Difficulty accepting stylus when highlighting reading material.

Got it for 49 during thanksgiving. It’s decent but not really a great product but good for the price.

I bought it to run a lot of home automation things. But after 5 apps wouldnt run like I expected them to, it was of little use to me.

I bought this product in july 2017 and in less than 2 years stop working, very disappointed, not recommend it.

It works ok as a very basic tablet. The tablet is kind of slow. The speakers didn’t last a month with normal use.
