This is a good tablet for the price, nice change from using phone

I bought this for reading books but it is also a fantastic tablet.

I have finally found the perfect tablet! I got the new Amazon Fire HD8 in yellow! It was in my price range and the size is just right for me! It fits in my purse so I can take it with me everywhere I go.

This is a great tool for both listening to music and for reading, as well as watching videos. I think it's a great improvement on the 7 just in terms of screen size and handling. Very easy to set up and use.

This cost me $79 and boy is it worth it. You get access to a tremendous ecosystem of amazon content, particularly if you have Prime. The hardware itself is very good and the size is perfect for casual bedtime reading, etc. Only cons are that if you are coming from an iPad with a retina screen, the 1280 X 720 screen resolution will be underwhelming. Also, the app selection is more limited compared to iPad or Android. And, the YouTube app is mediocre, its basically a link to the YouTube website via the amazon Silk browser. But with the caveats, you nonetheless cannot beat this tablet for the $$$. Buy with confidence!

Runs very well especially for the price. I figured being on the cheaper end of a tablet it would crash or run slowly. And it doesn't. The screen has a good quality compared to others. I love it!

Purchased as a Christmas present for my mom. who was already an Amazon tablet users, this one was a tad bigger and has served her well. the price for performance is exceptional. highly recommended.

Perfect tablet in a cheap price. The screen resolution and processing speed is better than Fire 7. I own fire 7 and decided to update to fire 8 as it was on good deal. The only thing I was concerned was it does not have all the apps I needed like Bank of America or other apple/ android apps. They should update new SW FW with all the common apps.

Good but screen is not good as other tablet .. great for kids

Was considering a Kindle but decided to get the 8" fire table to get some Android apps, Internet and a larger screen for reading. The experience had been descent and battery life enough to use all day.

With 16G memory and a larger screen than previous models, this was an outstanding purchase. Last Kindle worked well and lasted for several years, but just became outdated. Very pleased with the new one!

This is a very nice tablet for reading and watching movies. The display is very clear. I feel very comfortable with is product. you will see advertisements in lock screen. However, if you do not want those, you may opt out by paying a one time charge. I did not feel any thing bad about the adds on lock screen.

Good tablet pretty fast with alexa also has everyrhing i need

Product is great for a teenager to play games and read books.

This has a great picture and interacts with all things Amazon

I really like this Kindle! I not only use it as a reader and for playing games, but also like a mini laptop computer. I have it set up that I can even send a message to my printer for a printout.

Great tablet for the money if you use the Amazon ecosystem, screen quality is good for the price and battery life is very nice.
