This tablet was purchased for my husband. He likes that the screen is easy to see. My 1 year old grand baby can navigate it and play her games on it also. Very easy to use.

this is a great little tablet but don't forget to put it in rest mode or it powers down and it takes a minute to repower up. for the price it far exceeds my standards. don't forget the extra memory

Happy with internet order processing. Arrived as promised. Other purchase in store -- clerk was super nice. All items were Xmas gifts and were hightly recommended by daughter for my grandchildren. Therefore I have not used these products and will hope they will be appreciated.

I really like the Kindle Fire 8. Much better than my Kindle 3 that I've had for many years and dearly liked until it stopped working. The resolution is good and the touchscreen is sensitive. Very happy with purchase.

Lacks apps because it is not set-up with google app store, but there could be some hacks for it. Otherwise it has a number of the basic apps for browsing, social media, etc. Is heavy in day to day advertisements that are sent to you. Depending on what you need it for, it is a great value for the money spent.

This is my third amazon tablet. I get more use than my apple tablet. Hands down I would buy this tablet again for myself or as a gift! Reading, watching movies, playing games etc.. the display is high definition so with the stereo sound I rate this as 10. Set up is so easy.

The device is awesome! I bought it for my 6 year old son for Christmas and he loves it. The only problem I have with this fire and the older version that I also own is the poor selection of apps and games that Amazon offers. To get the better apps and games, I have to load Google play store onto it.

Pros: affordable, small handheld size, good color choice, HD resolution, nice audio quality, good alternative over expensive choices (gets basic reading and typing assignments done) Cons: display needs to be brighter, stereo speakers need to be relocated, slightly better processor and graphics needed

Cannot beat the price for this Fire HD 8inch tablet--just the right size and during Black Friday, it was less than $50. Graphics are superb, tablet very easy to use.

I had my doubts when I saw how low the price tag was, but I'm pleasantly surprised by how amazing it is. Battery life is excellent, and tablet is very easy to use.

I bought five of these as Christmas gifts. They were hits with all the recipients! The longer battery life and reasonable price made these tablets the easy choices.

I'm still learning about what all it will do. The camera is surprisingly good. The transfer o books from my previous Kindle was painless. Getting to my email was quite easy. I haven't yet located a fitbit app,but I understand there is one. There's much to leaen

I had the idea of getting my mother (a new gramma) this for reading and youtube viewing while she stayed with us for a few months. My wife and I had newborn triplets, and needed all the extra help that we can get. So grammas came into town to share some love, experience and change some diapers! This was a great gift. I have no idea what happened to it though, because I never see her using it anymore lol. By no means is this a "powerhouse" of tech. But it is perfect for children and grammas :)

I primarily use this as an e reader, but I really like the size of the screen and weight to carry. It also has a good internet connection when I need it.

Tablet for my mom to upgrade from an older one and it works great for her, she is happy with the screen colors. The size is reasonable and enough speed.

My wife thought she might like this. bought it for her. must be habit forming. she loves it. long battery life and storage. great tablet for the price.

We got this tablet for my mother for Christmas. She absolutely loves this tablet. It's a great size and fits in her purse to take with her when she travels.

I also own a Kindle Fire HD 8 5th generation, and this device (7th generation) has much better performance (faster, and more storage). It's definitely worth the money I paid for it.

If you're into Amazon's eco-system, this Fire works great. The price is usually a real bargain ($40-60) as Amazon is subsidizing its cost in order to reel you into Kindle books and everything else they sell (streaming video, etc.). Do note, however, that it is quite easy to install four files that expand the capabilities of this device so that it may use all of the items from Google's Play Store including their very nice Play Books app so, with this slight mod, it permits books from all sorts of sources. I'm very happy with mine and travel with it.

I paid a little extra because I wanted the blue colored tablet. It is an amazon tablet so I did find that a lot of my regular apps aren't compatible with the amazon Fire. I am finding now that more and more are becoming available for download which works way better for me. Hopefully as time goes on the apps keep becoming available. I do like the screen size and it is super easy to navigate my way around considering I am used to using Apple products. I would Def. buy again if the price was right and highly recommend!
