I purchased this to replace my older tablet that was starting to slow down. So far this one is working fine. There is an advertisement at the beginning, but that’s not a big deal for me.

I have a kindle from when the first came out., but it is full. Plus, I have the Texture app for my magazines, and I wanted the new kindle in color. It is awesome for books and magazines

I am suprised at how well this tablet works compared to the Samsung tablet it replaced for $50 less.

For me the best buy in union is the best, because they are taking care their customers very good ,even you are looking for something in the store if it sold out they order it for you .

After having and using a couple 'cheaper' generic android tablets priced between 50-100$, all I can say is the fire tablet beats them without question in all aspects.. faster, better display, etc etc... We are prime members, so of course it is more geared towards those with prime/etc. However it was easy enuf to side load the play store and get the other apps I need. The generic tabs are getting tosed and I've already purchased a 2nd fire tab

I love love love this tablet for my little ones since it gives them, and I, access to a reliable, well-designed tablet that is so much more inexpensive than an iPad, not even considering that the apps on Google Play are mostly free, unlike iTunes. My kids love it and they use the "Free Time" feature which monitors what apps they are using as well as what media they are accessing. Overall, I highly recommend it, I bought 3!

Has a lot of content for kids with the amazon freetime app. if you don't mind seeing everything Amazon it is a good general table also

We got this during a Black Friday sale for 50 dollars, and so far it works great. Used it mostly for reading books so far, but the resolution looks great on screen for video too.

I have purchased Amazon Fire tabs in the past and I really like them so much that I purchased this one as a Christmas gift for a secret Santa at work hopefully they will enjoy it just as much as I have

For the price was very cheap and the value of it is great. It was a gift i bought for my grandma i wanted her to be able to watch with bigger screen, easy access and to carry anywhere with her. You can download all of your favorite apps such as Facebook, Netflix, Hulu, messanger and whatsapp and more. YouTube easy access. Only difference is from Google such as the app store and settings. Real easy to adjust too.

Good price for the buy , I use it mostly to play games. Only downside is Amazon app store doesn't have as many games as Google play. And you can't get Google chrome app either.

I purchased this little tablet to stream Hulu, Netflix and Prime. It's been absolutely perfect for that! The picture is superb. The sound leaves a little to be desired, but I typically use headphones so it's a non-issue. I can't speak to typical battery life being very long as I normally use it for high drain activity, but I've not found it to be a huge issue either. All in all I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

This is an OK tablet with great price. However, the spec is not that good. The internal storage will be filled quickly and the screen feels quite laggy.

Works like a computer in many ways, and for a lot less than the higher cost of a computer. It is so easy to carry around. With the optional Bluetooth keyboard it makes it easy to access the internet and to be able to read my e-mails at home and on the go as long as there is internet available at various places. I'm sure it can't do as much as an actual computer, but what I use for, it's good enough for me.

Nice basic tablet for the price. Screen colors are muted and text was not that sharp. But, for the price, it does what I need it to do (surf the web, listen to music, read ebooks, watch movies).
