I picked this up for $50 and I have to say I'm thoroughly impressed. I just wanted an affordable device to read e-books and I got that plus way more. For $50 you get a lot of bang for your buck compared to overpriced tablets. To me, the tablet market is a passing fad at $400 prices or more, but this makes it worth the purchase in my opinion.

This is a nice size for holding and viewing. I debated on getting the next size up but glad I didn't. You can also create different profiles. I set up a separate profile for my granddaughter and it allowed me to add restrictions so she can't access certain things or make purchases in apps. It also gave me a 30 day free trial for Amazon FreeTime which has so much content just for children. Happy with the price and product.

This is a great tablet. I got it on Black Friday at an amazing price. The downside: a lot of features are only available to Amazon prime and audible members with an expensive membership fee and the selection of apps is limited. But on the other hand it’s inexpensive, the Alexa app is useful, games run ok, the display and photo quality is good and it’s easy to handle. For music and books I recommend an additional memory card - I use a 128GB - which works fine.

Bought it just because and don’t regret it one bit. Super fast and crystal clear picture.

This is a great beginner's tablet! I got it on sale for only $60 and it's high quality and reliable. The screen is the perfect size for watching Netflix and Hulu and reading ebooks. I also love the color choices - I got the bright red one and I love it!

Use this to watch Netflix instead of my phone. Much larger screen size and battery life is good.

I bought two of these for my kids, and they love them. They are responsive, durable, and inexpensive. Of course, whether it works for you depends on your usage scenario. If you are looking for a full-featured tablet computer to use for content creation, serious research, or other work-related tasks, you should look at an iPad Pro. But if you are looking for a device for games, entertainment, casual reading, and consuming Amazon content, this device works great. If you're looking for something for your kids and don't want to shell out $350 or more for an iPad, I'd strongly recommend checking this Kindle Fire out. We replaced two cracked screen iPads, and my kids haven't missed a beat with these.

This was actually for my mother so she could easily access her kindle and audible content as well as some light duty web browsing and the occasional movie or game for her grandkids. This was a great solution because it's quite straightforward and easy to use for someone who's not terribly comfortable with technology and it was inexpensive so it's not the end of the world if something happens to it. I realize that the hardware is heavily subsidized by Amazon both by encouraging content purchases and also through the "special offers" (ads), but I am impressed with the fit and finish of the tablet. It feels very solid and well-built and the OS is snappy and handles the tasks we threw at it very efficiently. Honestly, I'll probably pick up another one for myself at some point in the future given how impressed I am by this one.

I purchased this tablet for my 12 year old grandson when we took a family car trip to Florida. He was so happy to have something to do on the long car ride. I also bought the case that matches the tablet. Well worth the purchase. It is not bulky which makes it easy to use with the tablet plus it protects the tablet. Would definitely recommend and what a great gift to give someone.

Bought this tablet for my 70 year old mother and she loves it. Very easy for her to read the amazon ui and I also sideloaded the google play store so she can download apps not offered from the amazon app store.
