Nice and convenient tablet, it's perfect for starters.

It doesn't compete with the iPad in terms of screen resolution or performance but for the price it does remarkably well. Battery life is outstanding compared to the 7" fire. Very pleased with the purchase.

I would say overall, it is a fairly well made product with middle of the road performance. Performs well for the price, however, if looking for higher end performance and speed, look elsewhere.

A perfect starter tablet for the non-technical types.

Best one I've owned so far. This is my 3rd Kindle. They only get better and better. The screen is awesome so clear HD quality audio is wonderful easy to set up step by step instruction

The Fire is an excellent starter tablet for the money.

We purchased for our book-loving son, so he could take a library with him to his job overseas. It is a great solution for anyone who wants to take their books with them on the road.

After weeks of looking for a tablet with similar RAM as my Samsung S7 Edge phone I came across this tablet which has 1.5 GB of RAM over most tablets with a minimal 1 GB of RAM that is for the most part slow. Why am I bringing up the difference of 1.5 GB over 1 GB you ask? cause that extra 500 MB of RAM can make all the difference when you're either watching Netflix on it, reading multiple Ebooks or playing high RAM dependent games with it. Now aside from the extra RAM there's also the SD card capabilities which will come in handy with your collection of games and apps. The Fire 8 HD Tablet is thee tablet to get on a budget or not :)

I don't do much reading but love to lay games,go on the internet with them. Grandchildren come over and use them all the time. Easy to figure out and use. Very happy with all of them ,even more happy with the 8.

This is a great tablet to keep at my bedside. Can use it as an e-reader or for social media and emails. Anything I use my laptop for except a lot of typing. Battery charge is great!

The overall size is the best thing not too big that it becomes awkward to carry around yet small enough that you can still see what’s on the screen with out holding it right up to your face.

Can not go wrong for the price. Does everything you will need and has great screen quality. Dropped a couple of times without a case and it still running smooth. Good build quality.

I bought this Tablet for my grandaughter for Christmas! She loves too read books,this is the perfect gift for her.It performs well and she downloads so many apps! Great Product!
