super tablet, children are happy with it and its battery lasts for a long time, the speed is good but of course there are better. It is simply excellent for children.

I love the portability and ability to have ebooks easily accessible. Unfortunately it doesn’t support a lot of common apps. The price for what you get is absolutely worth it though!

by far for the money this is the best tablet you can get. only problem with it is the Amazon operating system. it's not very Google compatible, you have to hack it to get Gmail and Chrome.

This kindle was purchased for a 10 child. It is easy to use and capable to play games on. It even came with a free months worth of amazon prime. My son loves it!

I thought I'd like this . but limited in software and speaker rattle at times fresh new from store. quality is a c appears ok . few browser options Insane screensaver. . not a relaxed tool to use over done . no user control. got two units one has good Wi-Fi one has bad . so quality is not up to par to see both Wi-Fi on and one lag wayback means it's really just junk. points on it are fine but a few more generations and it will be better. if user can control the thing . all the auto run layers means we get a very distracting tablet if get another on sale if it was fairly made to assist the user in their peace of mind .quality of user friendly usage

Purchased this for my granddaughter she super excited when she opened the box for Christmas. The device was very easy to set up and it is user friendly. Great buy.

Waited along time for a reduced price and right on time Best Buy delivered. It does everything I bought a tablet for with all the apps I need.

Very comfortable and easy to use. Has plenty of storage for my usage. I mainly use it for books, internet and old school games( solitair, sodium and crossword puzzles.

This was to replace a former Amazon Fire tablet that inexplicably died. Glad I got a slightly larger version. Easy to use, and fairly easy to set up for a non-techie person like me.

Ideal size to carry around. Battery life is good. Download of apps could be more user friendly as some apps require you to access your Google account before you can download to the tablet.

Love it ... it holds an amazing amount of books, surfs the net and downloads books and music in seconds. Much, much better than the first generation readers.

Bought it for $50 to replace my aging Kindle Fire HDX 7. Was excited about the size (1" larger), faster processor, and expandable storage. I should have read the reviews. Comixology purchases only download to the internal storage, not external - 16 GB fills up after 8 downloads. The screen resolution is noticeably pixilated when reading text. Still, one star for value if bought for $50, one star for build (solid), and one if you're a Amazon Prime member & able to take advantage of video & music (which will download to external memory).

Having the fire has solve the issue of me keeping books to collect dust now I have my books with me in my fire and everywhere I go I have them amazing loved it
