Very slow , resolution bad

Fire for beginner

I found it extremely difficult to add new apps. This is a good tablet as far as price is concerned. If you don't mind ads.

Amazon doesn't get it

After opening it I tried to set it up for them. It is impossible to set up Fire tablet without giving Amazon a credit card to have on file. The person I was getting this for had no intention of purchasing anything from Amazon. I was getting it for them to set up some music account to stream like Pandora, Tidal, Spotify. Amazon would not let me download free app without a credit card for the account. I returned the tablet and went with a Samsung.

Stopped charging in under 6 months

I contaced Amazon, assuming that the was a one year warranty. Amazon tech support navigated me through a number of trouble shooting steps and concluded that the Usb port is defective. I was then told that this product only has a 90 day warranty and the best they could do in give me a 10% on my next Amazon purchase! Wow!
