Bought this for my grandsons 10 birthday. He loves it. He is a book worm and always has something to read. Also likes to play games so it serves both purposes.

I bought this kindle for my son and he loves it! All his apps from his old kindle automatically transferred to this one. The screen is bigger and very clear.

This is my 4th fire, previous were 7 inches. 8 inches is an excellent size to look and write without issues. I recommend Fire 8 HD. Works also for big hands.

Our family has been using Amazon tablets for about 5 years now and we have had 4 different versions of tablets and so far this is the best one we have owned.

I decided that Best Buy would give me the best price and choice so I shopped only at Best Buy. I returned first chosen because I hadn't looked at all the many choices not realizing that there were many models. My new Kindle Fire 8 is a marvel; light in weight, and easy to switch between available programs and much improved from my very old model which I enjoyed for years. I now switch readily among my choices: latest news from WP, switching among my library to read and re-read books, and purchase new ones....most often to select from the freebies. I take my KIndle when I travel.

I purchased this tablet on a Black Friday sale on a whim. I already own an iPad Pro so this was going to be just a supplemental device. I was pleasantly surprised to see that its build quality was good. The Fires screen, though not super high def, was more then up to the task. Its version of Android was serviceable and lo and behold with a little research you can even install Google Apps. Will it replace the iPad, nope. Is it good in its own right, especially considering its less even a third of the iPads cost? Absolutely.... Don't hesitate to pick one up, especially on sale.

No surprises there, really decent tablet, exactly as you would expect from Amazon. Nice, clear display, decent performance, suitable for 99% of the people.

If you don't want to give iPad to kid, this is one of the best option in low price, everything is good with this tab only picture quality is not that great

The Fire HD 8 is a nice size tablet for traveling, not too big, not too small. Screen quality is good.. It is not as full featured as other more expensive tablets, but it does let you use a memory card to expand storage. You can tether it to your phone via bluetooth to get internet access on the go. For the discounted price paid of $50 it's a good buy. In my opinion it is as good as any of the cheaper Samsung tablets.

For the price, it is quite a nice tablet. I must admit there's little I've done with it for now, the goal being to get it to the kids to control their Lego Boost kit with it.

I purchased this tablet for my son as a replacement for an iPad. I was impressed with the quality and picture of the tablet. Definitely worth the price!

Best Kindle Fire I have ever had and this is my fourth one. Had a regular Kindle when they first came out. Upgraded to a Fire 7 and now to the Fire 8.

This is right size to hold. 8" might be better too, however i felt this to be pretty comfortable. It's not HD. But is good for quick reads, social networking, lounge view

A nice sized screen and a cool red color. Here’s a tip, download the google play store .apk so you can have access to more apps than the amazon store

HD8 tab went for $50 on black friday, its supposed to be HD, it probably is but no comparison to the samsung galaxy tabs. But for the black Friday deal, you cant beat it!
