Bought this for use by my wife and I when we take a short trip and don't want to lug our laptop. Seems OK for web surfing, email, etc. Larger screen than using our phone.

I have a 5th gen 7", and I needed a larger screen with a limited budget. At this price with the features offered I'm very pleased. Less than Amazon!

For $49, this is perfect for my game room. I can utilize vs. my smaller iPhone screen. Wish I wasn’t bouncing between OS’, but at this price, STEAL!

Great tablet for kids and elders. Easy to use. Nothing fancy about it. It just gets the simplest of task done at a great price. Had for 1 week and it has had no issues.

I have bought three of these. We are an apple family! We have had many iPads. I didn't want to have to buy another iPad for my twins. They have iPhones, which they use daily and just needed something a little bigger for Netflix and basic games along with books. This fit the bill. They love it and use them daily. Great purchase at a great price for their basic needs!

There's little I don't like about the Fire HD8 - first of all, I think that's the perfect size for a tablet. It is pretty zippy and always ready to help in many ways, full of apps and videos or music. It integrates pretty well with Alexa, and I intend to experiment something about controlling my smart home devices through Smartthings.

I replaced my old fire reader for a new one. The speed is faster. I love the new fire tablet. Easy to download book. Was able to save my photos

I like the size of it. It has a lot of options. It has Free Time which is great for children. It keeps them safe while they are using it. It even stops the pop ups.

Have my kids using this at home instead of their cell phone for social media and you tube. Larger screen and much cheaper then killing battery on their cell phones

Bought this for my son to replace the Ipod he has been streaming and playing games on. He loves the clarity and the screen size. A great buy!!

Bought couples during holiday season at low price ($50/ea), nice! Pros: - HD display + Fast internet, smooth streamming - Can add more storage by using microSD card - Good size to carry & reading document on the road or works Cons: - No AGPS (but not big deal) - No Google Play Store (but you can side load Google Play. Many instructions available on web)

It's a decent tablet. Good size. Would be better if it could have google play loaded without going through hoops. I don't really like the UI, but it could be worse.

I love my tablet from bestbuy.com i came in the the other day and i just love the way it feels in my hand it not to big and it not to little.

I love it, I just wish it wasn't so locked down. If it was closer to a true android system instead of of being trapped by Amazon's tech junk it would be perfect
