I was searching for a tablet and decided to go down the efficient yet inexpensive route considering I already have enough electronics. I wanted something I can travel with, to download books, and to surf the internet. I definitely recommend this tablet!

Bought Many Kindles and they are all Good

They are a very inexpensive form of entertainment (kids shows/games/music). The operating system is slow and clunky but the kids don't really notice. My wife and I have them too and for what we use them for the are good but not great (music/audiobooks).

A great tablet for a reasonable price

I like it when we travel because we frequent a place in West Virginia where there is no internet availability. So, when we go, I download books, movies and music and I'm good to go without internet!

Great tablet for travel

Good screen resoloution and display. Only thing is I wish I bought the one without ads. All in all a great buy. I would recommend to anyone who doesn't want to spend alot on a 2 in 1 or a tablet like an iPad. Also good for kids as well.

Very efficient tablet at a very low price

I use it to check my emails, watch videos & movies, listen to music, and play video games without a problem. I am sure that the higher price tablets will run faster but the Amazon Fire HD 8 is serving it's purpose for me.
