I have had a few iPads, but was looking for a cheap tablet to use for some basic web browsing, watching videos, and experimenting. My main goal was to find something inexpensive to play with and try to load other types of apps. The fire tablet worked like a champ.

This is a great tablet for the price. Just know the fire play store is limited on some apps like snap chat, it’s not available but most everything else is. Just know there might be some not included . Love this for the kids tho.

Nice tablet and nice price. Primary reason for buying is to play Pandora over bluetooth to my stereo. Works great for this purpose, and has the added benefit of all the additional Android apps. It took a little bit of effort to find and turn off all the advertisement popups, but once that was done, it's working great.

You can't beat the price when they are on sale. We have one for each child. We installed google play and get all the apps that an android has at a fraction of the price. Also you can add an SD card to load movies or download from prime or netfilx

Bought it for my 5 year old daughter. She loves it!

I was not in the market for a tablet but was in the store when this item went on sale for Black Friday. I took a chance and am glad I did. Works great for streaming Netflix or listening to Spotify. Internet search engine works good too and easy to connect to Wifi.

Once u add a bigger SD card for memory expansion its great

The value for the money is OK. But buyers should be aware that they will not have access to the full range of apps that can be accessed through a normal Android-based tablet. If I could make this purchase again, I'd probably shell out a bit more for a Samsung model or similar device.

Tablet has done as expected. Good product for the price.

I bought this as a teacher to use for distance learning and it worked great. I was able to use Zoom and the touch capability to write on my Google Slides for classroom presentation. Now I use it for reading and games and love it for that too.

This is the 3rd Fire I have purchased. I wanted one for myself, my Grand kids have the other two loaded up with their games. My only complaint is the audio, just not very loud. But watching movies on an airplane with cheap ear buds isn't a really fair test either.

If you are looking for a tablet to do some light gaming, reading, movie watching or other kinds of internet browsing this is the right tablet for you. Amazon UI can be a dealbreaker but there are ways to make the tablet turn into a 100% android tablet. Just search online and enjoy!

I love the quality and price of this tablet. It's fast and reliable with a good hd picture. And there is many things you can enjoy doing on this tablet such as watching Netflix, reading ebooks, listening to Pandora, play games and surf the web to name few. I recommend it.

Don’t like the ads. Don’t like the screen quality. Don’t like the Amazon Fire OS. Love the price. Would suck it up and pay a little more for a better, ad-free device.

Smooth , easy to use , and overall it’s a great tablet.

This tablet is a good price but it does have its drawbacks for sure. I didn't know it came with ads built into the first screen you see everytime you go to use it you have to swipe for the ads to go away. That is kinda annoying but you get over it. The other things I Noticed that I didn't like was the fact it seems to be a little slow when comes to its processing power so it can be a little laggy sometimes. Also the inability to use certain Google applications like Google play store is a big let down when it came to how I used this device. This will be my last Amazon tablet due to just that fact alone. I will be purchasing a new one when the time comes. it's going to be to one that must use Google Play Store for sure. Other than that it's a basic beginner tablet if you're a die hard Amazon user.

This tablet is much nicer than expected for the price.

Great for general purpose use. Nice size for the price.

Solid little tablet. I got this version because I just need a tablet my parents could use for messaging with the grand kids, and that can run things like You Tube. This version had some extra ram in it so it will have more longevity then the cheaper model.

This is a great inexpensive tablet for our 8 year old.
