Resolution is good battery last for a long time for me I stream movies on it. I turned my fire tablet to be as a regular tablet and it worked but Netflix cannot be I stalled :/. Otherwise it works fine speakers are ok on it.

At no fault of her own the charging port on the 7 just stopped working and was out of warranty. The 8’s screen is much bigger and significantly faster. She needed another tablet for her Osmo, which works perfectly with it. So far this tablet, for the price, is a God-send.
