Tablet fits perfectly I my shoulder bag and will be great for travel. I WOULD give it a 5 if voice view came on more easily and if it worked with the silk browser better and if the document creator was accessible to voice view users. Also they should state clearly in documentation how to use the shohr cut for turning voice view on.

Fun Tablet

The screen is a nice size and everything seems crisp. The sound quality isn’t great, but I’m just using it as something for the kitchen so I can watch my shows while I’m cooking. It’s much better than just trying to watch on my phone, especially for the price.

Excellent Upgrade

I loved my original Kindle Fire HD. It died and I replaced it with a Kindle Fire HD 7 and disliked it so much that I seldom used it. I recently received the Kindle Fire HD 8 and I really like it. It is the perfect size for reading, and that is what I mainly use it for, and, the other features I might use on occasion are integrated well.

Kindle Fire Best for light use

The Kindle Fire 8 was perfect for me. Plus the price was right. Only issue is that it doesn't come with much so you have to download everything which is only a minor annoyance. A few local apps were not Kindle ready.

If you want a good, dependable tablet for surfing and other stuff, it performs well. I know it is android based OS, but you don't have Google play store, However, knowing that going into the purchase, search the Amazon app store. Then make your decision. But, as quality and value go, you can't beat it.
