Too happy with the ability to sideload GooglePlay Store on this device along with the amazon store. Device performs well and every app I need runs great on it too! Very stoutly made and delivers everything you could hope for and more - in a sub $100 tablet.

This tablet was a perfect gift for a middle school student needing access to educational apps. I'm very pleased with the options it provides and the size is perfect. The item was also on sale, and was a very good price.

I purchased a couple of these as gifts and I am definietely pleased with them. I like that they come in different colors (no getting them confused) and that they are easy to use. I would purchase again and recommend to family and friends.

I haven't had any Amazon tablets before . This 8th Generation 8 inch tablet has worked well for me . It hasn't given me any issues . I would buy another someday if I needed a new one .

Got this for my parents, they are just getting into technology and this is easy to navigate and they use it many times every day. Watching videos, answering emails, playing games it has done well over the past year.

I love my Tablet. I use it mostly for reading books. Great quality. Display color is great. It is just the right size to hold. I never have any issues with it.

I use it mostly for reading ebooks. It works great for this. I definitely recommend a cover for it to protect it and make it easier to hold. The price was under 70 dollars which made it much more affordable Than other similar tablets.

I recently purchased the Amazon HD 10 tablet and when the price dropped on the 7" I purchased one as a gift and gave it to her as an early Christmas present. She loves it so much that I purchased two more for the grandkids on Cyber Monday!

Areas where the HD 8 is just as good as premium tablets but at a fraction of the cost: The sound is incredible, the screen is incredible, websites load as smoothly as on my previous tablets. Areas where it isn't as good as it could be would be the main things are it's a bit heavier and plastic instead of metal or glass, and having to pay $15 to get ads removed even if you don't buy it from amazon.

This is the perfect tablet for kids! It's user friendly for them and inexpensive for the buyer. The features and app selections are great and the battery life is long enough to last a long car ride or just throughout the day in general.

I got this for my 10 year old daughter, she loves it. Plenty of movies and games to play. I added Amazon kids free play app so I'm able to monitor what she does on it such as apps downloaded, games played, websites visited and more....

I have bought about 4 of these Fire HD tablets. I like them. They are just the right size to fit into my purse and convent to take with me everywhere. The last two that I bought I gave to my granddaughters for birthday gifts.

This is my first tablet because I am a Apple person. I bought it for reading be cause reading the Bible from my phone became strenuous. This has a great view, and it was great deal. I plan on getting one for the kids soon.

Bought this for my little one as Christmas gift. Unfair to compare this tablet with Apple because of the vast price difference but cannot beat the iOS ease of use and graphic interface. But nevertheless a good product at this price

Ive had one of these for a while now, so I bought a new one for my mom for a Christmas gift. At times, it's a little slow, but that may be my internet connections. None the less....for what you pay, you can't expect much more from it.

We love this and so does she. We are ordering another for their household. If you buy for a kid, this buy a tempered glass protector and a case that is kid friendly. Preferably with a handle that doubles as a stand.

I love this tablet. I use it to read books mainly. I don't game, and don't do Facebook much on here. I check email once in a while on this, as well. It works fine for my needs and the battery really lasts!

The Fire HD 8 is a very good tablet for the price that I paid (Black Friday). I use it for YouTube and Netflix as well as surfing the Web. The screen is decent and large enough for me. It's not very light as more expensive tablets.

My wife has an older model but we could not play audio books on it. We download books from the library and when time is up back they go. This one is pretty simple to use and set up. Bought one for my sister-in-law for Christmas too.

Bought the Free HD 8 since I wanted a Prime account for Amazon shopping. Since I'm also a video junkie had to have a Fire so I can use all my Prime benefits. Also couldn't beat the price at Black Friday.
