I just got this for my mom for her browsing experience. The tablet is small which makes it easier to take it anywhere. Other than that, the UI is easy to use. It is definitely a good purchase.

Wanted to purchase an inexpensive replacement tablet for a child who had an Amazon Fire and dropped it. Was not under warranty. Got the BestBuy Members price on line and a good price on an extended warranty.

I really love this item. I got it hoping to be able to catch up on my sports teams after work without having to hijack the television from my wife and son and it’s worked out better than I could have imagined.

I really haven't even used it yet. I have 2 other of the same, but different generations. I would expect this one to be even better than the last one. Got it because I bought it in Cyber Monday at a great price.

Luckily I got this at a very good price. I will highly recommend this tablet for kids as it is very cheap in price and does all its work like other highly priced tablets.

It's a great gift for kids this Thanksgiving and Holidays. A great value for the product and Best Buy and Amazon rock with their prices as low as these....more important is it's plenty in stock.

Look no further than the Fire HD8 for a no frills excellent quality Tablet! Good resoultion and great battery life! Even able to load the google play store for added use ability and increase the number of apps!

Its a great tablet for the price. Now that you can install the play store on this tablet it is a great deal for the $49.99. I would take it over a iPad any day

This was on sell and we wanted each of our children to have one of their own. It's been easy to use with parental locks. We can now download movies for our children when we go not have WiFi and are traveling.

I bought this to replace my wife's aging kindle. It has a large screen and works like any other android device. She has loaded all her games and books already. She has had no issues using it.

I purchased this tablet for my daughter of 8 years old. I like the restrictions I can put on it. You can set time limits and goals and age restrictions for content. the 16 gigabytes is easy to use up but there is a MicroSD card slot to expand it.

Bought this as a gift for a family member. They are very happy with it. Size is perfect, not too small or large. Other members of the family and friends have also purchased this and appear to be happy with it.

I have two kindles bought this one because more memory and low cost. The only negative it's slow to download, screen will turn black then reload. The real problem is it does not sync I don't know what's wrong. It's worth the little issues.

This tablet is great for those who want to use Amazon-related apps (Kindle, Audible, Amazon Music, etcc...) The appstore is very limited so I found a way to download Google Play on this device. Once I did that, the tablet became MUCH more useful.

I enjoy having my Fire HD Tablet close by when watching the tv because it is so easy to google if I have questions about something said on a show or any of the actors. It is great for games also.

I love to bring this with me when I fly. I download movies on a chip so if the plane doesn't have movies, I can watch the ones I saved. I read my books in the Kindle apps. I don't do much surfing on it, it is much slower than my Chromebook.

Purchased 2 of these and gave them as gifts to my nephews children 5year old and 8 year old they think it’s cool they play games on them and it keeps them busy when they travel long distance

I was looking for something portable to access the Internet, but with a bigger screen than my phone and a few additional options. I am able to access the libraries catalog to read books. Starting to take pictures and may even give Skype a try.

My kids and I love this tablet ! took it on many trips and played many games ! I was amazed how many apps we were able to download and still have space for photos !

This is a good tablet for the price. Use it mainly for web browsing and YouTube which it does very well. YouTube app finally have up to 1080p way better than what it use to be around 360p.
