I just wanted something my daughter could use to video chat with family and friends without tying up my phone, and that was easy enough for her to use. She's not a techy kind of girl, and this device meets our needs.

Bought for my 80 year old Aunt to have a device for games. She loves it and uses it daily. Easy to use for her, battery has lasted great, takes good pictures.

We bought this for my mother in law to upgrade her older 7" model. She absolutely loves her tablet and I know that she will love this one even more with the addition of the camera and all the other upgrades.

If this is not going to be used as a computer it is great. I use it for the kitchen, before bed reader, and a white noise machine and as a kindle. For the price the value is there.

Easy to use; useful capabilities. Good to carry around and read the latest magazines. It has Alexa, also. Which can lead to amusing confusion after wife is given one of the specific Alexa devices.

I purchased this device for my wife with the desire for her to use for email, browsing and her card games. It fills that need perfectly for her since she really is not a big user or power user. The size is perfect for her for her need of use.

I wanted a tablet for reading. This cost me about$50 which is pretty amazing. Do I like it? Yeah, it serves its purpose, I'm also able to use some social media apps which is neat. There is not really wow factor about it,only the price and I guess that it works well-what more can I ask for. One thing that I dont like are the ads on the lock screen. Everytime the screen is locked there is some bad that's on there. I don't know why Jeff Bezos would think I want to see ads on the lock screen, but I guess the richest man in the world has some reasoning behind it. Overall I give this tablet an honest review, and it works for exactly what Ibwanted it for.

Works a little slow and is only available with the fire Store. It has a lot of ads on the home screen and even the lock screen.

Purchased this for my mom (77yr Old) to give her another option for keeping her mind busy. She loves it! Went from how do I turn it on to pretty tech savvy in a couple of days! 16g is plenty for her use.

What a deal this is! especially for a new model. It definitely is not an Apple or a Samsung. But it does cater to people who only uses this for basic stuff like Facebook, YouTube, internet or e-reader.

This is a good tablet for the price. Be warned, it does not come with the google play store. Also, it easily attracts fingerprints and I immediately had to turn the brightness up. Other than that it can do anything that I need it to do.

Bought this in sell for my 2 year old and she loves it. Cant go wrong for the price. Does just about what any other tablet does. only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because its not an ipad. But for a fraction of the price no complaints.

I got this tablet for my dad. So far so good. It's not an Ipad, but it gets the job done. It is even able to get Netflix and facebook. Pretty much everything a grown man would need lol.

I love my fire. I use it every day. This is my second one my first one just died one day had it for three years. That is the reason I only gave it a four star. But I love using it so I bought another one. Hope this one last longer.

Bought this to play puzzles on and so far it is all i expected it to be. Easy to start up and personalize, color display is good and the feel of the tablet is a-ok. Very pleased with this purchase.

The Fire HD 8 is a fast-performance tablet, in which the performance is amazing. The durability and structure of this product is just perfect for any age. I do say it is made for all-day entertainment.

Great for those looking for a cheap tablet if you are already in the amazon ecosystem. Bought it for my 17 year old and he loves it. If your not all in on the amazon ecosystem there are a lot better tablets out there

For the price you cannot beat this fire tablet. Has zero WiFi issues works great for how cheap it is. Bought this for bill payments and to keep me busy while traveling for work and does the job.

On a budget?, then this product is good for you. Easy to navigate and program. This tablet will not disappoint. Much better and easy to handle than a regular laptop or desktop.

Love this tablet!! So easy to navigate through. I originally brought it for my daughter but I loved it so much I had to go buy her another one and kept this one lol
