I bought the tablet and docking station for my Grandma to use during this COVID-19 lockdown, so we can see each other. Using the Alexa features work great. We video message all the time and she gets to watch her westerns on the tablet in bed.

As an owner of an older Amazon Fire HD, I've been hesitant to upgrade. Finally got the latest Fire HD 8 and wow, it's bluetooth functions perfectly and connects with ease to the Powerbeats3 wireless earbuds. Sure makes for listening to audiobooks pretty easy and inviting.

Bought this for our 5 year old son to share with us. He love kids books and we got a free Kindle subscription with our purchase. The games and apps, he loves those too. But overall a very well built product. It doesn’t log and is as fast as the iPad when browsing the web.

My old Fire HD literally wore out. The battery wouldn't hold a charge. I was in a panic, couldn't imagine being without my Kindle. Got online and lucky me, my local Best Buy had them ON SALE! Love my new Fire HD. Great resolution, fast speed and a dandy little tablet.

Great value for a tablet. The only downside is using it at the beach or pool for read from, as the battery got hot quickly and the screen was difficult to see in the sun. Also, it needed to be charged more than I'd like, especially since I only used it to read from.

My daughter has been using an older Altec(?) tablet for several years that has had a broken screen for almost as long; thanks to a great Black Friday deal... we finally got her a new one. No complaints for us or her... it's fast and easy to use.

We purchased this tablet for our daughter. She was using our iPads for her learning apps, but we wanted her to have her own. She has been using it just fine with no issues. We like that we are able to change several settings. I wish it wasn’t linked to our amazon account though. We haven’t had any issues yet.

This was a Christmas gift for my 9 yr old daughter and it was just what she wanted. I really like that the tablet has great parental controls with the option of having separate children and adult profiles with restrictions. My daughter loves it!

I bought these at the beginning of the Covid stay at home orders, to help my kids with their school work. They've been solid little machines. I'm sure other tablets have more bells-and-whistles, but these are good and reliable, so far.

Rarely do I use the Amazon Fire Tablet but when I do, it's not great. It's not great because almost everything I do on the tablet, it's not very responsive. However, I got it on Black Friday for a very low price so I'm still somewhat happy with the purchase. I think it's great to carry around in public to check emails or surf the web without worrying about it going missing or dropping it. The battery life on this tablet is horrible! The ads as a screensaver is somewhat annoying and it's not worth paying a little extra to get rid of it either. Would I buy it again? I definitely would as long as the upgraded tablets have a better response when I use it and as long as it's still very cheap. I prefer to use this tablet rather than my iPad in public.

I bought this just for the lego Boost set. It does handle the app just fine. I paid $50 around christmas time, now it looks back up to 80. Big downfall is no google play store. If you are proficient, google play store can be installed, but most users will not have that capability.

Amazon prime videos looks excellent. Sound quality is good. Primarily use it for reading books by through Onedrive or Dropbox apps. Alexa is handy. Overall, great tablet for the price.

This was last minute purchase for Christmas and it is actually a really good little tablet. It was for my son. It has a great picture quality. I use Amazon alot so its great that I can also have some control on my Amazon account. Really good tablet for the price.

Connected with 5:1 sound system, it surrounds the listener/viewer. It is a little tricky to get the picture because of the way the various other components are plugged in, but that is the installers issue as well as my insistence they they all be useable.

Gave this tablet to my nephew & he loves watching videos, movies, and learning on this. This was a great buy for the price! Would recommend this to anyone! Not a lot of memory space you would need to buy another chip of you need more memory.

I gave this 3 stars only because the big A is better in most ways. But this tablet is great for reading games movies and even is a supported device for our library. On it’s own it’s a really nice tablet and 79 bucks just get one!

We bought this item when it was on sale for black Friday. My in-laws love it. This tablet has a show mode I think it is called. This allows it to act like an amazon show device. We have one and my in-laws have one and we do video calls with them regularly.

For the money it's extremely durable. Not great if you want a fully functional tablet. Reading news watching videos and playing some games is fine.

I have two of these tablets in the home. Granddaughter needed one so I knew the product was excellent. I shopped it online and Best Buy had the best price and of course, I knew their service to be nothing but great and it was.
