This was a great product, however we did return it. We bought this for my mother in law and felt it was a little to complicated for her to use. We purchased a Galaxy E Lite from you for her that was a lot easier for her.

If you are looking for a decent smart tablet for less than $100, Amazon Fire HD 8 is the best choice. It now has the Alexa capability and comes with a show mode dock that can convert this into a Echo Show. So what more you want?

I mostly use this for reading books and works great for that. It’s a bit slow when browsing the internet but works fine for the limited amount of time I use this for browsing instead of my iPad. I docked it a star because the newer models can no longer mirror to the fire stick.

It's unbelievable how much tablet you get for your money with the FireHD 8. I managed to follow instructions online to add the Play Store to mine. So I've got both the Amazon and Google ecosystem. Audio is great, and screen is good.

Although it has a decent price tag when on sale for $50, I would not pay $80 for this tablet. It seems to be extremely slower than previous models. If I had it all to do over again I would wait and see what Amazon comes out with in the near future. This little guy does not have the processing power or speed to accomplish my smaller daily activities much less the stronger more hectic part of what I use it form day to day. Nice try but thumbs down from this guy.

old kindle was easy to use, battery was good, this is OK it works, not user friendly when navigating the systems. Amazon wants you to use their system and their apps, makes it difficult to maneuver out of them.

I like using the kindle fire products for most of my email and reading needs. When I purchased my new kindle fire 8 I was really happy with the help provided by numerous sales associates and later by the staff at grek squad.

I've finally gave up my weekly trip to the comic shop and instead I now read my comics digitally. A Kindle and the Comixology app are a perfect combination to read digital comics.

Picked up one on special and loaded Google play store on the tablet. We were then able to access google work suites. With all the parental controls and amazon prime membership advantages, this tablet is a no brainer.

I needed to return my grandson's Kindle Fire, which would not recharge. Since the item was under warranty, it was cheerfully exchanged for a new Kindle Fire. I am very satisfied with the service and selection at Best Buy.

I am really enjoying this tablet! It's the first one I have ever had. I was looking to purchase a kindle and was shown this tsnketbad an actual cheaper option at that time. I'm very glad that I decided to go with the fire tablet.

Is probably a very good tablet but more for reading than playing games. Once we got it home she wasn't happy with the speed. We ended up returning it for a Samsung galaxy A which is more like she is used to.

I absolutely love my new tablet. Amazing quality and it takes me to all of my apps quickly. I downloaded a puzzle app a few weeks ago and my mother came to visit and she enjoyed playing the crossword puzzle. There is possibly that I might get one for my mother very soon.

I really enjoy this tablet but you really need a case to hold it while using. Great screen for reading books compared to Kindle White. Love to use it for Facebook instead of using my phone. Nice clear image quality. Perfect first tablet for kids too!

You can not go wrong with this 8” tablet. The App Store has all your favorite apps Netflix etc. you can play mobile games on here. Also the best part you can sideload google store for true android experience.

I was looking for a new tablet and was not let down by this little guy, late night you can turn off blue hues to help relieve eye strain and fall asleep easier. Most apps work for it too, but I wish Amazon would allow Vudu to work.

I had no problems...it was faster and more responsive and useful than most other android tablets. I liked it a lot. crisp, clean and clear picture,,,only that it should have a way to upgrade memory/storage.

Awesome "cheap" tablet. I say cheap because in comparison to other brands this is a bargain price for the quality you get. granted, its limited to amazons version of android (without modifying) its still a great tablet, especially if you have/use a lot of amazon content

This is the third one we've owned. Perfect for our level of use. If your requirements are relatively simple and you don't mind the average 3 year life span, you're getting great value for your money plus convenience and ease of start-up.
