Reading books on this Fire tablet is awesome. Just bought a bunch of books to read! Surfing is a breeze and you can watch Hulu on it too. It's a great reading tablet with extras!

This was chosen by and purchased for my wife. She was wanting something versatile that could easily be carried. This fits the bill. She is completely happy with it.

If you use the Amazon ecosystem this is great value for the price. Good for media, occasional browsing online and reading ebooks. This is not a power tablet nor dors it claim to be, great for the everyday user .

Got twins girls so they fight for my tablet....now it is peace and quiet lol! To a point their grandparents, on their mother side, called and praise me for getting them those tablets!

This was a great item for my family Pollyanna. At $50 it has so many functions for someone that does not need a super tablet, I am very happy with this purchase.

I purchased three for Christmas gifts for grandkids. They look like they will be fun for them. Purchased because of reviews and recommended by the salesman at BestBuy.

It is great for reading books. Good at playing simple games. OK for browsing the internet. It gets the job done but there are better options albeit much more expensive.

Buying this item when it was on sale seemed like a good idea. But something Best Buy and Amazon dont tell you when buying it in store is that it comes with AD Subscription. Ads constantly play on your screen saver and everywhere else. Additionally, if you want to turn the ads off, you have to pay. Lame Amazon...lame Best Buy.

Was looking for a tablet to read books, play a few game, etc. What I got was much much more. I can surf the web. Shop and bank online, I use it to take family pictures and videos.

The fire hd 8 is a nice tablet. I had a 6th generation and the new 8 is much faster. I also like the fact that you can add an sd card. Older generation did not have that option.

Works great as a monitor for the ip camera in the baby's room. Also, easy to use with Amazon Prime. Accessories are expensive compared to the very low price of the tablet.

I bought two of these for my parents so they could play on them or read a book when they were someplace with time to kill or just sitting at home. They LOVE them!!

The new kindle has so many variation i.e. the lighting ,text variations, font size. Makes it so easy to read. Videos are clear to see.

Bought one for each of my kids for Christmas and was not disappointed. Amazon have me a discount for buying 2 that was honored in store. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Really great product and wife loves it and still using it for reading and watching netflix movies and all. Very sturdy and reliable.

We bought 6 tablets for 6 of our grandkids and they all loved them will told them we will add a book every birthday and Christmas because reading is fundamental!

The tablet works great and i or my son has had no problems with it he loves that its red and not the normal black color for most tablets because it is different he loves it more.

I'm not a big fan of the refresh rate on the Paperwhites so I got this to read with instead and like it much better. Bright, crisp screen with access to apps if you need it.

Purchased the Fire HD 8 for my wife but the whole family is now using it. Set up was simple. We use it for watching streaming services and surfing the web and have no complaints.

If you are looking for a high performance tablet, this is not the one. The screen looks great and the red color is awesome. Perfect tablet to read, listen music and watch series on the go.
