Bought this as a kindle reader and general purpose tablet for the family. Amazons apps store is somewhat limited compared to google play. Ok battery life , but bright screen

The Kindle is great for what for what I use it for, which is browsing the internet, and watching tv and movies. However there is one downfall with the Kindle. It doesn't last long. This is my third Kindle Tablet in a year. After three or four months it becomes harder and harder to charge. Eventually you will have to wrap the cord around the device three or four times, out the tablet away for 24 hours and hope a fly does not land on it in order to get it to charge. But for me, for the price when this one quits, I will buy another one.

My mom had been wanting a new tablet and I was able to score the Amazon fire HD 8 for a sweet deal. Set up was easy and works really nice!

Works well as an e-book reader I primarily bought this to store my large e-book collection on the micro SD Slot that is available

Nice little tablet but Amazon has to stop putting ads and ask us, consumers, to pay $15 to remove them. I just feel like its not very fair.

I bought this for my Granddaughter for Christmas. She loves it.I will be buying more even one for myself even though I have a smart phone.Its also fast.

My kids loved this. You can read books, download apps, ect. For the limited time they have on it they absolutely enjoy the different apps you can use.

I had a previous Kindle Fire - 8 but the screen got cracked. I couldn't resist buying a brand new one when the Black Friday sales began.

I have always liked Amazon products. This is a nice entry level tablet. My only problem is that it only has 16gb of storage which limits how many apps I can have stored on it.

Bought for our daughter and has helped with basic things for school and perfect for reading. She loves books so now she has gone digital!

Was purchased to support a church sound and presentation system. Apps easily integrated for audio and sound mixing. Used for two weeks.

after my sons amazon fire stopped working (it was old), my husband and i decided to get our son a newer one. he loves it and we love it for him.

Way too many pop-up ads while completing my task. Wish I k we how to.turn them off Now this review is making me mad because you want more and I don't have any.

I got it for my kids, because of the parental control, it works great I can set, the amount of reading time, video, games and apps time. Very happy

Not fast, battery dies fast, navigating through screen is complicated and amazon set up needa a lot of work, to make it user friendly

Tablet was gift for autistic grandson. Kid proof cover has kept the tablet safe during drops to tile floor. Easy for 11-year old to grip and play games.

This is as a gift for my wife whose last tablet was getting old. She loves the color and the ease of use. I also enjoy my alone time now...lol.

Love this. I use it for reading and surfing the web. I love the red color. It has come in very hand. I would recommend this to others.

I bought several of these in different colors to give as gifts. They are a great price, fast speed, & do just about everything any other tablet can do.

It's a great value. Especially useful for viewing content - nice screen quality, as you'd expect it works well w amazon content. Limited apps in the amazon universe.
