It would be great if it came with Google Play preinstalled as trying to add it is a pain in the neck and the Amazon app center is a wasteland I use it exclusively to read my Kindle content.

I got this tablet for simple functions. That's all you'll get compared to other brands such as Apple and Samsung. Amazon's Android OS is not like a typical OS and may feel unfamiliar. I simply use it as an e-reader with other features.

Picked two up, because it was inexpensive and wanted to use it as a streaming player. After infrequent use, the screen wouldn't turn on. Needs some qualify control.

Serves it's purpose. Light but not iPad light. Clear screen but not Samsung Galaxy Tab reality bending. I got it to read books and watch Netflix on flights, which it does well. Anything More than that, get an iPad or Galaxy.

Slow to respond and Alexa takes over I have echo also I have to hide my fire 8 so I can use my echo even when u turn off Bluetooth it automatically comes back on for price great

Continues to shut off after being on for a few minutes. Either I need to tap the screen as it dims or press the on button when it turns off itself. Can you help me. I have a HD fire 7 and 10 that works fine.

This is my fourth Kindle and not the quality as my others. It is lighter weight, cheaper plastic and doesn't function as well as my previous ones. You have created an inferior product and I'm truly disappointed.

I've not had it long but the colors and clarity are good, but the display brightness varies on its own. Not much, but maybe a bit brighter might get it to stabilize. It would also be nice if it would quit losing the wifi.

Bought 4 Fire tablets of differing models. They work, but they're far too limited for what I'd hoped. Kids can't play regular games (Fortnite), and they're stuck with Amazon store. Unfortunate.

Not sure what you are expecting for $50, but it works and is decent enough. Good first tablet for kids. When it breaks in 6 months, you buy a new one. It's like disposable dixie cups, but for electronic tablets instead.

The Amazon Fire is a great deal, however even when you download Google Play store you can only download certain games. (Amazon approved games) My son loves playing Mario Run however it will not let me download it :(

Wonderful for the price. Awesome. Only 3 stars because 1 it doesn't have apps like google play store. 2. Sound system is not that great. Apart from these two it is awesome awesome E.

The screen on these tablet easily breaks. So buy a good case to prevent it from breaking. It is functional but it’s not an apple product. Get the basic things done.

I bought this on sale. Never had a kindle device. Nice bargain for price but a bit disappointed in the options of apps available. Good device if you are very integrated into amazon ecosystem.

I guess its unfair for me to not like a product because it is still micro USB, but the potential to invert the power cord when charging is just too great. I would recommend a USB C tablet for longer life.

This tablet looks to be OK, but the problem that I seem to be having is getting the free aps on my tablet without putting in a credit card or payment. I just want to use for free aps.

Decent tablet for the price. I just found it annoying that Amazon doesn't use the play store and have their own app store that doesn't have everything. This is enough to make me barely tough it.
